    Fury's best opponents since 2014

    - Wladmir
    - Wilder
    - Chisora
    - Hammer
    - Wallin
    - Swarz

    AJ's best opponents since 2014

    Wladmir
    Povetkin
    Ruiz JR
    Whyte
    Parker
    Pulev

    Wilder's best opponents since 2014 -

    Fury
    Ortiz
    Stiverne
    Washington
    Arreola
    Breazeale
    Molina

    Summary -

You can argue that perhaps Fury has the most impressive win vs Wladmir as he dominated him, but we don't know exactly what would have happened in the rematch when Wlad stated he'd let his hands go and and just come after Fury rather than trying to outbox him on the outside as he usually does.

AJ's best fights are full of fighters, many of which were mandatories, who were considered top 10 material.

In my opinion - Compare that with Fury and Wilder's, there's no comparison. Most of Fury and Wilder's best wins were against opponents of top 20-40 level quality. Most of Joshua's best were in and around top 10 quality.

The main thing everyone brings up often is the age of Joshua's opponents, despite the fact that Fury's best win was against a 39 year old and Wilder's best win was against a 40 year old!!!

Who has wilder beaten of any real value that was under 39? no body!!! Who has Fury beaten that's under 39 and of any value...? oh yeah! Wilder!!! Who's fought no body else besides Ortiz and a bunch of taxi cab drivers.

You cannot just use age to dismiss AJ's resume, you have to look at the quality of fighters, and not all older fights would get beaten by their younger rivals.

Fury has the best single win out of all 3 with the win over Wilder.
Wilder had the most impressive KO streak of course.

But AJ's resume has more consistent "quality" so I'd go with him

AJ not even close - Wlad, Povetkin, Whyte, Parker, Ruiz and Pulev.

Fury - Wlad then could debate which is the next best between Chisora (before he took his training seriously) or Wilder. That's it.

Wilder - Ortiz (which is weakest opponent out of above mentioned wins).

I'd say Whyte resume is better than Fury and certainly a lot better than Wilder (there are many who have better resumes at present than Wilder).

I'm an AJ fan and have to disagree with you.

Fury beating Wlad, reigning and unbeaten champ in 10 yrs, on his own turf, is bigger and better than anything AJ has done.

I respect the quality of that win but not necessarily the manner which was a $hit show.

Fury beating Wilder a third time doesn't improve his resume and if Joshua beats Usyk I would bump his resume and his position to the top of the table.

Wilder's resume doesn't even compare to Parkers, Whytes hell even Ruiz. Its poor for a belt holder of many yrs.

Wilders resume is clearly the worst by far, his best win is easily Ortiz whose own resume is pretty unimpressive and who was outboxing him comfortably both fights.

Wilders resume is weak to the point that Fury clowning and then demolishing him isn't as huge for his own resume as it might be - except to say that Fury got in the ring with a dangerous puncher and beat him two different ways.

Fury's real claim is breaking Wlads air of invincibility.

AJ may have beaten a lesser Wlad, but he's also got more substance to the rest of his recent resume and has done well against various styles.

If the question is "we'll roll the dice for a randomised top 5/10 ranked fighter from the last 15 years, and using resume alone you have to pick a winner" I'd have to go AJ on that bet... Even if I do think Fury is the more skilled fighter.

 This is how you're going to rationalize an aging Chisora proving to be "about the same level" as Parker, Takam, Whyte and probably even Ruiz.
Fury schooled the young version .... but ! .... that was "before he took his training seriously" !

It's up there with 41 year old "rejuvenated Wlad" compared to 39 year old "unmotivated Wlad".

AJ is the clear resume leader and also the youngest. Fury is just too inconsistent. He should have a loss to McDermott on his resume and struggled with Wallin. I'm pretty sure if he fought AJ's schedule he'd have a loss or two of his own.

First schooled a younger version that he admitted didn't take his nutrition and training seriously hence why he did when he became a born again Christian we have seen his performances improve and his best results have been since then.

As for Wlad vs AJ he came in the lights he had done in 7 years and physically looking the best he had in years.

If its Fury then it's because both Wilder and him ducked AJ. They didn't like what they saw when Joshua fought Pvetkin.

Fury has the best top win(s) ie a much easier time with Wlad + battering Wilder.

AJ has the most depth on his resume.

    Wilder has...well...Ortiz.
