Yeah. Nobody can argue against what Oscar did. I can understand it from his point of view as a businessman looking to protect his investment, but in no way can GG be criticised for what played out. Nobody can say that he was begging for a payday against a JMW champ. Canelo was the WBC, MW champion AND GG’s mandatory.
nobody ever defeated GGG , let alone clowned . Hopkins and RJJ would have prob lost to both GGG and claslappy. Oh wait they lost to a guy who couldn’t punch lol. What an overrated “legends”.
A prime RJJ would beat GGG so badly that he would make him quit boxing, it would be funny to watch. You couldn't name a worse stylistic match up for GGG than RJJ. Canelo beat GGG troll. BTW what does Calzaghe have to do with this? He's a ATG unlike GGG.
as much as I dislike calzaghe... it's digusting to see someone comparing gg with him. calzaghe was in his way to be another little gigi or otke, but he fixed it on time. Last time I checked little gigi was calling out oscar de la hoya . At least otke knew his game and never pretended otherwise (or I dont remember him to pretend otherwise, it was long ago), he just played his game and that's all.
GGG can't cope with Calzaghe's speed, movement, can't outwork him and he is very unlikely to stop him - how does he win here exactly? Being a little bit better than Danny Jacobs doesn't do it for me. Prime Hopkins would be a 50/50 here against Calzaghe, Golovkin is a 20/80 shot at best. This looks like 116 - 112 Calzaghe all day long. There's a reason GGG backed out of his 154 - 168 pledge when Ward accepted.
He had no issues fighting Alvarez at Middleweight, but has issues fighting Golovkin?. If you're not a fanboy, then you're clearly beyond deluded or simply hate Cotto. It's very obvious that the Alvarez fight is what will seriously pay and it's exactly what Cotto was rightfully seeking. Golovkin was begging for a payday without offering anything in return. That's one hell of a story you have going on there, the way you're presenting it too has "just another idiotic Golovkin fan" written all over it. Then again, if that's the actual case, then the only one that benefited here was Golovkin. He finally got two free major paydays for doing nothing.
What does calzhaghe has to do with this ? if you read your own post , you mentioned it. Are you too ******ed to read your own posts? Roid Jones is an overrated can crusher . GGG >> Roid Jones trenbolone , I mean nandrolone.
I rate Calzaghe's wins against Reid, Lacy, Kessler, post prime Hopkins, post prime RJJr great than GGG's draw and loss to Canelo and controversial wins over Jacobs and Derevyanchenko. However I'd rather watch GGG any day over Calzaghe.
Roy would probably have lost to GG and Calzaghe? What? Roy would have been a huge favourite over both of those guys. He was on another level.
Seriously, what on earth are you talking about?? Cotto had a C-W against a vulnerable, end of the road Martinez. He then had another C-W against Daniel Geale. GG was the WBA champion and was then made Cotto’s WBC mandatory. Cotto then had his 3rd consecutive C-W against Canelo. He would never have fought GG at MW. Have a word with yourself. He had 3 consecutive C-W fights before going back to JMW. You are the one who’s deluded. He wouldn’t fight any of those guys at MW, yet you’re saying he’d have fought GG there? Ha! If he’d have wanted GG, he’d have fought him in a unification fight BEFORE he fought Canelo. You’re talking absolute nonsense. You are kidding yourself. Regarding the timeline that I posted, everything that I said was 100% factual and can be backed up at any point. GG was Canelo’s mandatory and the WBA champion. Canelo then gave up his title, before fighting Liam Smith at 154 and Chavez at a 165 C-W. And this was AFTER Canelo had ran his mouth and Oscar had told Loeffler to await his phone call. Seriously, did you not watch all of this unfold? I’ve already told you that I’m not a huge fan of GG’s, and many people will confirm that I’ve criticised his ranking and his resume on numerous occasions. But it’s a stone cold fact that Oscar delayed the fight by almost 2 years.
