The only 2 worth watching are the 2 fights in the summer should this fight be called off. AJ, Fury, Wilder and Usyk fine with any combination between these four. The rest above should be cannon fodder for any decent Heavyweight World Champion.
Hmmmm AJ and Fury going at it on social media. Anybody else get the feeling this is all a bit staged?
Great post. The only thing I got here is this... Fury would be quite happy to throw that back in their faces by demanding the fight be in the UK. By that point it'd probably be allowed with a decent crowd and AJ/Hearn would have to decide between obvious greed and loss of face or losing that bargaining chip.
Just to confirm only those four would beat; Briggs,sanders, Brewster, hide, Byrd, moorer, Rahman, Douglas, stiverne, McCall, Bruno, Berbick. Is what you are saying? You are talking waffle. The era was made by all of these guys playing their part I would love to have seen both Vitali, Vlad, Tyson, Lewis amd Holyfield in with those four but let’s be honest the Bruno’s, Douglas and Rahman’s Made that’s division what it is. Lewis is and all time great and got spanked by Rahman but that Ruiz fight was a very similar fight for AJ. Don’t be writing everyone off. I would love to see Ruiz vs Whyte and Joyce vs Hrgovic. The winners of this fights deserve to be the next contenders for the likes of AJ and Fury
Agree with you both about Usyk. Any Cruiser or LHW going up to HW needs to have an advantage in speed and be able to it hard enough to keep the giants honest, Usyk has none of those advantages or qualities but while I don't doubt he has the skill and toughness to be competitive with the top HW's he simply doesn't have the advantages that Holyfield or even Haye had at HW.
Agree with this so long as they all fight each other I am happy. I think Hrgovic deserves a shot too. From AJs perspective. Having been talking big about facing Wilder two years ago and that never coming off and now the Fury fight falling through. He really needs to step up. Pulev and Povetkin were not worthy opponents but he faces them instead of Fury and Wilder. AJ simply isn’t facing the best and it’s getting embarrassing. No one knows what is going on behind the scenes but perhaps AJ needs to step up and demand the big fights?
