Triller Fight Club co-founder responds to Dana White

    https://sports.yahoo.com/triller-fight-club-co-founder-165500612.html

"Last week, Triller boss Ryan Kavanaugh ripped UFC president Dana White for allegedly blocking St-Pierre from boxing returning world champion Oscar De La Hoya, something in which White isn’t remotely interested."

Disappointed Georges St-Pierre says boxing Oscar De La Hoya would’ve been ‘dream come true’
    https://www.yahoo.com/sports/disappointed-georges-st-pierre-says-152042856.html

“I understand that Dana didn’t want me to fight,” St-Pierre said in an interview with Cinema Blend. “However, it would have been fun. Because my career as a professional fighter, to become the best in the world in mixed martial arts, is done. I’m turning 40 years old tomorrow; I’m going to be 40 years old. It’s a young man’s game.

“However, to rather fight a boxing match under the rules that Triller put on against the legendary Oscar De La Hoya? For me, it would have been a dream come true, because he is my second favorite boxer of all time, behind Sugar Ray Leonard. Plus, a lot of the money made would have been given to charity. So it would have been for a good cause, just to show that we don’t take ourselves too seriously. And it would have been serious competition because you say, I play basketball, I play hockey, but you don’t ‘play’ fighting. It would have been fun.”

Who the hell is Dana White to prevent a man from earning a living in another sport?

This is why mma/ufc guys get into these boxing deals; they can't make the same money in their sport and they are slaves
    to Dana as well.

What's crazy is that GSP already retired from the UFC. Not sure how Dana was able to kill the deal.

Darn this would have been a great fight! GSP's always in tremendous shape and he's got some of the best boxing of MMA fighters. Wonder who De La Hoya will face now that we know Eddie Alvares and GSP are out?

    That’s hiw UFC contracts work.
Just in case they want to make a comeback a while in retirement.
They dont end by time but by fights.
When he came back GSP signed a 4 fight contract. He still has 3 fights to be a free agent OR get released which is badically at Dana’s mercy.
Also GSP has pissed Dana off by doing his thing and not shilling.

Dana still mad that Johny Hendricks didn't get the decision. He seemed to be always annoyed with GSP.

Because GSP is his own man.
-he didnt get bullied into fighting Bisping during summer 2017 because it was a better marketing date but in november when he was ready.
-didnt say yes to a Nate Diaz fight since it does nothing for him.
-didnt say yes to Khabib when Dana wanted to and didnt get the fight later when he wanted to.
