I don't think he fought safety first at all in this fight. He opened up a LOT more than he usually does.

The game is hit without being hit. I don't see anything wrong with being cautious if you are still kicking the other guy's ass.

He actually had much more balance issues pre Sanders. Watch the tape.

Tyson? UD's over Green, Tillis, etc... and always quit when the fight got tough, no thanks. :hi:

That is what I don't understand.

I would get it if the dude had a ton of UD's on his record, but ****, Wlad 90% of the time guarantees a pretty vicious knockout.

It's confusing to say the least.

I don't even really feel like arguing it much anymore. It surprises me how people find so much fault in a guy who would be at least a 4-1 favorite against anyone on the planet in a boxing match right now.

honestly, what is this post? Now we are criticizing the guy for throwing combinations? Is this your critique, honestly?

How about this...find me another HW who throws combinations. Any. Please.

That's what this whole thing is about, isnt it? You guys are pissed because there is no new Tyson on the horizon or Lewis, and you take it out on
Wlad being a limited fighter in a bad era.. You all were spoiled, there were alot of bums around for Tyson and Lewis to feed on too.
BTW, Thompson beats, Berbick, Pinklon Thomas, Mike Spinks, Bonecrusher, etc...get outta' here.

Tyson actually fought opponents who were capable of making the going tough though that's the point. WALDO actually made it look like tough going against a sparring partner. Think Tony Thompson would have gone 11 rounds with Tyson? If you do then you're delusional, seriously.

Yeah, after all, the great Tony 'my biggest win is a gassing Douglas while down on the cards' Tucker, Bonecrusher Smith, Quick Tillis and none less than Mitch Green all were ......oh wait, they all went the distance.

You sound like a guy i used to know, who WANTED to interpret other people's actions as racist statements against himself.

No, i don't suggest Wlad is better than Tyson. I'm just saying that lesser men than Thompson have gone the distance with him, and considering he's a 6'6" durable and akward southpaw, i certainly don't think it's out of the question that he does. In one-sided losing effort, of course, like the former mentioned names.

Anyone agree with me that this fight was good for Wlad in the sence that he did take quite a few punches, and got a big cut from a clash of heads, and he didn“t get hurt and won by KO .... this could make Wlad a little less fearfull of getting hit in his next fights. He tends to go into a semi panic mode whenever someone takes a swing at him.

he was going at more risk because people desired this after the fight with ibragimov
hit without being hit was just shown by wland vs ibragimov at its best

people were clamoring for Wlad just to be more aggressive. the Ibragimov fight was so boring that what we saw was a slapping match on the arms. throwing more of his right is what we are asking.
