Would people want to see a fourth fight if Wilder wins the third fight?

It’s still a “big” fight, it’ll be very interesting to see how it does. I think the conclusion is obvious but I’m not gonna lie and say I won’t be watching. It can’t do anywhere near the numbers it did for the 1st or 2nd given how conclusive the last one ended but we’ll see.

The entire heavyweight division makes me nauseous . At least a guy like Whyte will fight somebody.

I suppose that depends on the contract.

Wilder is nowhere near Bud`s level, I don`t care about the resumes.

Hell no. Fury was robbed of a decision win and has knocked him out too. If wilder wins it will most certainly be after getting outboxed for ages and then landing one of his hail mary right hands.

Fury would still hold a 2-1 record over him and I would still consider fury the better fighter too.

If he wins by KO yes. If he wins by dodgy decisions no.

I just hope Fury puts him into a tent of the non camping variety.

Naw, he won't go near Joshua, unless AJ suddenly loses an arm and can only fight one-handed or goes off the rails and comes back 3 years later and 100 pounds overweight.

This is pretty much why the laughable cards in the first fight come back to bite.

We all know this is really already 2-0 and that's why there's little appetite for it... And why even if Wilder wins, it's 2-1 and still noone is that interested.

    But....
The official record says what it says, and your logic is sound.

And actually, in that scenario, I'd be more for #4 than I am now for #3, believe it or not.

    For two main reasons...
    1) I think it'd be a crying shame for the belt to go back to being Wilders hostage while he goes back to fighting cans, ducking unification fights and generally making a mockery of the belt.
    2) It's just not sporting to have the record left that way... It's the same reason some still pine for another rerun of GGG-Canelo, they can't stand to see the record left the way it is on paper (although I'd argue leaving Fury-Wilder honours even would be much less just).

Hopefully the better boxer will win again and this question is irrelevant... And I think most of us would agree with that, regardless of whether we like Fury or not.

There is no conceivable way Wilder wins the third fight.

He only won 2 rounds out of 19

I don't rate Wilder anywhere near as highly as some do, but this is just nonsense.

There's no way Wilder comes close to even a draw on legit cards, there's no way he looks the better fighter in there... But KO is a shortcut to victory and if Wilder has one thing, it's a monster KO punch.
