Who wins? I have Mayweather winning by fairly close decision in a tough, competitive fight (7-5) at 140, & a competitive fight, but clear Mayweather win at 147 (8-4/9-3). I see it being a hybrid of Mayweather's fights with Augustus & Corley.

Floyd was far harder to hit than Taylor and would out-point him.

True, but Meldrick had really fast hands. That can cause Mayweather a lot of trouble

Taylor by UD at 140. Too fast, too busy. He would land twice as many punches as Floyd.

Not sure about 147. Taylor seemed to lose a few steps after his heartbreaking loss to Chavez.

It's not as appealing at 147.

But it's highly compelling at 140, where realistically both peaked.

I see Taylor's handspeed, and tight inside combinations causing Floyd a lot of problems. However, I ultimately think that Mel's defense is too leaky for a sharpshooter like Floyd.

Floyd takes over late with cleaner punching and wins a close decision in a great one.
