He must be getting paid a decent amount for sparking these complete stiffs he is facing... Who knows how good he really is? We wont know until he faces someone who is going to at least punch back
Yeah. As shocking as his opposition is, the narrative generated by social media that Jake is actually good at boxing is even more shocking.
I can't think of any boxers with a physique like his, big puffy muscles - it's like something from a rocky movie.
TF is a part time boxer isn't he? I mean 5 fights in - you expect him to now be facing a guys with a few wins - similar records at least but not guys who've had 10 fights and never won. When I heard this noise about him wanting to fight one of these Paul muppets "I thought what a joke of a fight" then I saw Fury's record and thought "has he really done much better than the youtuber?" put him in with someone with a pulse please ffs.
But Tommy has no intention of learning anything, he has no intention of fighting for titles or moving up the rankings. His fights are essentially celebrity guest appearances for a decent fee. Long term goal I would imagine is to keep his name out there until he can hit the jackpot with a freakshow PPV fight against another talentless celebrity or against a 50 something retired ATG.
This fight should of been someone who at least will show him something new, few wins on there record, noted as durable etc. Not like its his first fight to get him used to professional ring or crowds.
Agreed. And as much as Tommy has only fought horse**** opponents, they're still levels above what Jake dares to step in the ring with... And that tells you all you need to know about JP
I’m not willing to write Tommy off because he’s done nothing wrong so far. Most people fight for extreme bums in there first 5 fights. There’s a cash cow of a fight possible with Paul so why fight anyone decent before he gets his massive payday. I personally think he smashes Paul into week.
True, if he's chasing that Paul fight then he wants to keep his resume laughable... Truth is, even with a laughable resume, Jake ducks him.
