Beating one of the undefeated top pound for pounders at age 42 on top of an already legendary career.
Does it make Manny the GOAT ?

Here we go again. To answer your question, of course not.

No, he needed to beat Mayweather and decisively beat down Marquez at a weight he frankly should have to enter that conversation. He's a true all-time great and an absolute legend, but his resume is lacking fellow upper-echelon greats the way guys like Leonard, Duran, Charles, Robinson, Greb, Armstrong, etc. aren't.

Depends on how high you rate spence and what spence does afterwards

No. Spence is a very good fighter for sure but he's only beaten two world class fighters his own size and he struggled badly against both even though Brook was hardly at his best for a host of reasons. Against career 140 pounder featherfists and blown up 135s like Mikey he looks the business but as I keep saying it's a different ballgame when you face opponents your own size and so far we haven't seen him put in a dominant performance against a prime natural 147 pounder yet (Brook was doing well in that one until the nasty head clash in round 8 shattered his orbital socket). It would be a hell of a win for Manny though given his age, inactivity, and size.

No. Pac is 6 years older than Floyd was when he fought Clenelo.

So whatever Alvarez achieves doesn’t reflect on Mayweather but the same is not true for Pac and Spence?

Clenelo was 21. Spence is 31. Spence is smack dab in the middle of his prime. And Clenelo just hit his and seems to still be getting stronger, faster, and more powerful.

    No.

But it would make him the greatest boxer of this century so far.

And it would put him at least in the conversation of top ten all-time.

And Clenelo didn't have the aura of an unbeatable fighter back then like Spence/Crawford do now.

Clenelo today is breaking arms and eye sockets and putting the fear of God into huge men.

Like I said, it's not Floyd's fault that he didn't fight a prime Clenelo. It wasn't possible.

I hear what your saying but he beat his fair share of greats in the upper echelon. His resume is amazing. He beat Barrera, Morales, Marquez, Cotto, Mosley, De la hoya, Thurman and more. He can only face who's there for him to face. Is he the boxer that Floyd is....Of course not. But what he did, may never be duplicated. He reminds me of the legendary lilttle guys like Langford, Armstrong and Joe Walcot(Barbados Demon). Starting at 108lbs and winning titles at 112 SKIPPING 118 belts at 122,126,130,135,140,147 AND 154. The guys a legend who deserves to be in the Top 5 Greatest of all time. I wouldn't argue if he was placed in the top 3 OR higher.
