It is dreadful that a fight of this magnitude hasn’t had the coverage it should have done. However, it’s also partially down to Taylor too - he made the choice to sign with Top Rank when lets be honest, any UK based promoter would have had him and had him on UK tv. It’s not a priority for TR the UK market - okay it would bring a bit extra in but not really the life changing figures that they’d want for the hassle of jostling with UK broadcasters.

True but had he signed to MR can you imagine the shite he would be fighting to build towards this fight in 3 years time?

He went to TR to get this fight, move up and get the crawford fight. He will still get decent money and we get class fights

I agree with this, had Taylor signed with Matchroom Hearn would be feeding us Taylor v Ritson whilst talking up potential big unification fights.

The problem with modern day boxing is that unless you're a superstar of the sport like Canelo or Joshua to leave a legacy a fighter must be aligned with a promoter and platform that also promotes the title holders and big names in and around the same weight division.

Taylor is chasing legacy over money and that has to be respected and the side effect of choosing that path is that if he continues to win the **** you money will eventually flow to him.

A win on Saturday night and Arum will likely give him the option of Crawford or Lopez next in a real superfight.

Taylors popular with the purists but not with casuals. To be honest looking at the standard of fighter getting exposure on some of the Matchroom cards recently, Taylors probably better off with Top Rank.

Taylor being a knob outside of the ring does not help his case -- true even in Scotland! But the magnitude of the fight alone should have meant much more coverage than its got even in the build-up

^ This is the equivalent of writing off a fighter after one loss.

Arum rarely lets fights go on TV abroad on the cheap

Jeez so matchroom now get the blame for fights that have been nothing to do with them. C'mon pin the blame on top rank for asking for too much money.

I watched highlights of Ramirez and Taylor fights today. I feel more confident now that Taylor wins this one. Ramirez seems relentless but Taylor just seemed a level above. Taylor wins an entertaining fight on points.

Chisora was right when he had a go at Hearn for making "Taylor-Regis" PPV main event, and giving the scheduled Chisora-Parker fight second-billing.

That's exactly why I like Taylor, he's a no BS, straight talking, tough as nails, hard charging MOFO who has all the traits required to be an elite level World Champion.

I don't want to see him hugging babies, opening a new shop or giving a cheque to a charity who's CEO drives an S Class Mercedes.

I want to see Taylor whooping ass and taking names with zero eff's given and so far, so good.

Chisora is a tough man but he ain’t on the level of Taylor Prograis, as Prograis said” we’re no1 an 2”.. mental having chisora headline a card with talent on the same card like them 2. Derek is a greedy schitzo

Should of joined Matchroom. Taylor being poorly promoted especially considering how talented he is.

Join Matchroom with no 140s or 147s signed up .
If matchroom had big fighters in that division similar to the 160 and 168 then it would make sense so don't talk rubbish
