Interesting. I found the fight entertaining but mildly disappointing. I thought there was much more intrigue in the Beterbiev-Gvozdyk fight.

Until recently (last 1-2 years) I've seen many casual fans mixing up the two in social media, thinking Kelly's flashy style is what made him a world champ...

Well lynch is a long time ago tbf. If we are talking post war then buchanan is the only one who compares and even then I think this victory surpasses kens achievements. To hold all four belts is massive and very few fighters achieve that.

I think he's done at 140. He beat the top guys decisively. Nothing left for him. Prograis and Ramirez can fight for his crown once Taylor vacates. That'd be a good fight as well.

Yeah... And rightfully so.. Taylor should have a few fights at 147 before going in with someone whose adjusted to the weight.. Quite ridiculous to say otherwise

I'd rather hear Jim call another match for his successor as Scotland's heart-and-soul good-but-not-great world class operator, "RICKUH BURRRRRRRRRRNS", just one more time.

(actually you did also have Scott Harrison sandwiched betwixt them - but not quite as fun to listen to Jim pronounce)

That's the rub, if Taylor DID manage to somehow go up and defeat Bud @147, he has a decent case, especially if he can then go on a defend or even unify. But that's a herculean task!

Apparently, according to Elie Seckbach, Bayless is getting roasted online right now

Eddie Hearn should get Josh Taylor away from Top Rank to prevent near daylight robberies like this.

They'll have the Crawford fight 120-108 to Crawford.

How about this route, if Bud sticks his nose up at it:

Winner of Pac vs. Spence? It still keeps it "all in the family", in-house with Top Rank, very makeable. I think best case for TTT is Pac upsetting Spence, as he's an easier mark given styles and his age, but if we're supposing that he could beat Crawford then it doesn't leave a far leap to surmising that Josh could beat even Spence. When's the last time we saw Errol face an elite prime southpaw? Or, uh, even an elite past their prime? Or a prime near-elite? Answer's never..and Taylor is ½" taller.

Yeah but if Teo was looked down upon on here, trying to move up to 140 to fight the winner, than Crawford should be looked down upon for even considering to fight a 140 pounder instead of guys like Thurman, Porter, or Ugas. Taylor should stay at 140, and not give Arum or Crawford any hope of a fight.
