Did you watch the fight? Crawford looked excellent.

You can tear down any win like that. It's bull****. Brook was a quality win, it wasn't prime Brook, but it was still a great win where Crawford looked great.

You could equally breakdown Spence's win against Brook as getting lucky with GGG's damage to the orbital. Just asterisks everything.

If they fight, Crawford will win, and he'll also make it look easy. He's p4p #1 right now wit Josh creeping up fast.

Respectfully disagree. I don't think Crawford looked that great in that fight apart form finishing well.

Find me anyone anywhere that was giving Brook any chance in this fight - everyone was saying the same thing; Brook and Khan should have been fighting each other in a big UK grudge match, and did not deserve even a sniff at Bud.

Kell Brook was never at Roy Jones level. Roy Jones fell a long ways. Kell did not. He is only two years older than Crawford. He only lost to GGG and Spence and he fought good in both those fights. GGG was just too big and he gave Spence everything he wanted. If it wasn't for the damage to his eye, he had a good chance to win that fight. He won his next three fights after that and then lost to Crawford so yeah, it was a decent win for Crawford. People wasn't picking Brook simply because they knew what kind of animal Crawford is.

I wasn't giving Brook a chance, but that's more on the quality of Crawford and not a dig at the quality of Brook, who I still think can be very good.

So I'll respectfully disagree with you but fair enough :)

It went FOUR FREAKING ROUNDS. How in the hell did Crawford "not look too great." Crawford was trying to get pace and distance in the first 3 rounds and stopped him in the 4th. That is what he ALWAYS does

If he wanted to prove he is great , he had to fight the only other top fighter in his division Spence. He should have done everything to make that fight,

He doesn't have the balls that Josh Taylor and Oleksandr Usyk have.

How utterly convenient that you and Chrissy Williams make up excuses for Spence. Spence's own words were 70/30 or 80/20. No one is "making up numbers". Try this: Spence says Crawford might have to take 70-30 split ⋆ Boxing News 24. Funny Mikey did not want to fight him when he was at 135 and Crawford had all the belts at 140. Crawford beat him as an amateur and he has vastly improve. Once again IF PBC thought they had someone who could beat Crawford they would have run to get his belt. Porter would not fight Crawford when he did not have a belt and so if he wants the Crawford fight he takes what is offered or no fight. By the way you were WRONG again: Shawn Porter turns down $2 million to fight Terence Crawford ⋆ Boxing News 24

My wee sister could have stopped that Kell Brook in the feckin' second round by christ! First jab he didn't see that hit near his eye and he mentally folded. Done. Shot. No longer even C level IMO.

My whole point about that fight is it was a nothing fight - it told us NOTHING about Crawford we didn't already know and was never going to.
Same as Khan - he had no business going in against Crawford EVER, let alone after getting cratered by Canelo. Look at who he fought either side of Crawford ffs - Samuel Vargas and Billy Dib!!!! :risas3:

And FWIW, I don't blame Crawford for most of this (oustide of resigning with Top Rank), it's that snake Arum I blame for stagnating Crawford. Why Arum didn't get Crawford the fights his talent clearly desrves have no idea, but it's a disgrace.

I've made 0 excuses, but giving you truth as you make excuses for Crawford, who Bob Arum continues to say he ain't worth the money to make a big fight lol. Crawford hasn't fought any top welterweight yet and been at welterweight for 3 years now. Had an opportunity but Bob Arum low balled Porter and Thurman. Here it is Crawford still don't have a fight yet lol. Yet Spence got the fight with Pac, and Crawford didn't why is that? Spence told Crawford 60/40 and he said 50/50 or nothing. So Spence clowned him and said I can make it 70/30 if I really want. Crawford isn't a smart business man and his career is falling apart. He didn't sign the contract for a 70/30 split with Pac like he was the A side lol. Once Spence win this 3rd belt, Spence coming after Crawford and he's going to have to sign a 70/30 then. Spence will hold 3 belts and the ring title. Spence playing chess while Crawford playing checkers.
