    Absolutely.

You can't say that one world class fighter has no chance against another.

Against Ali? complete mismatch. nothing against Conn. Against Holy? At his best , Holy would give anyone a fight. Look at his resume. Maybe the truest warrior of the HW division. Holy in 10. Would bet the mortgage on this

When Billy boxed he usually did very well. He was good at it. Real good.

Ali nor Holfield didn't have Louis's hands.

Do not forget that Billy Conn did not put on his thinking cap when he fought Joe Louis in 1941, he let pride dictate his strategy which can be a very huge mistake, it did cost him as we all know. Masterful boxer without a doubt, but he would lose to a fighter with great concentration, confidence and punching power. His mistake shows that he had a big ego to pull it off. Both Muhammad Ali and Evander Holyfield were very experienced and confident professionals to let him off the hook. Flash and dash cannot guarantee victories, it only appears impressive until one right hand spells the end.

I think Conn does poorly against Muhammad Ali, but he could give Holyfield some problems. I do think Holyfield beats him, though.

I disagree. Conn fought a brilliant fight against Louis in large part because he was willing to go on the offensive. Had he just ran throughout the fight, he would have just been hunted down.

He maybe took too many risks towards the end, but Louis was landing hard shots throughout and to a large extent I think Conn got worn down.

I think Louis had a weakness against smaller fighters in that he didn't really use his size and bully or maul them too.

A lot like Walcott in his fight with Louis he just tempted fate too many times and Louis caught him.

So true, you can be so offensive as a fighter, but then there is one opponent that times you and one right hand puts an end to your evening. Aaron Pryor was one in particular, he often tempted fate, but he was so talented and lucky.

Aaron Pyror should have been nicknamed "Black Jack" he gambled with lady luck so often with his style.

You bet, we should have taken him to Las Vegas, or asked him who should we have put our money on, Tyson vs Douglas, Feb 11 1990.

Fight ends after the first punch Jackson throws even if it misses.
