He has a big frame though. I wonder for how long he'll be able to make LW. He looked huge in there with Loma.
I think Lopez is acting like a ***** with regard to Lomachenko, but his ***** ass would put a beatdown on Taylor.
I had Lopez beating Loma by a round but Loma is very old for a small man with a huge amount of wear and tear from 350+ amateur fights. As you say Lopez is also naturally much bigger than Loma. Therefore I don't think he would be able to live with a huge 140 pounder like Taylor.
I highly doubt Teofimo would take that fight anytime soon. P4P Taylor proved to be a far better fighter. Teo's win against VL is misleading. It was like Hurd vs Lara. He's naturally at least 3 weight classes above Loma. I reckon a top fighter who's a physical match to Teo will beat him easier than most'd expect, likely knock him out.
Yeah size matters. Teofimo looking like a gaunt, sunken-eyed, slurring cadaver the day of the weigh in against Loma ''Skinny Fimo right now, but then you get the monster tomorrow'' ''By tomorrow I'm gonna look like a different man.. a whole new man'' Here he is saying he's going to be a ''big 140 pounder'' too This content is protected Let's see what happens when he's facing highly talented opponents his own size or who are naturally 2 or 3 weight classes or more bigger
Taylor beats him up Lopez looked lost like he didn't wanna be there when injured little Loma finally let his hands go and gave him a pummeling from 6 to 11.
Ofc Loma frame is not large. He was older than Teo is now and made weight ins at 126 lbs limit with 0 problems. Imagine >25 y.o Lopez making 126 lbs weight ins? Or today's Campbell for example? They might pass away when will attempt to do this.
