Not the fight I wanted but still a fascinating fight in the grand scheme of slow match making in boxing.
Tell you the truth I was really pissed off after the first fight. I stayed up until I think half three in the morning, watched a exciting fight, only for the fight to be fixed by the judges. It felt really depressing. I had just stayed up late and completely wasted my time watching it. I think it is the first fight that permanently changed how I view boxing. It was a very sad night.
If only they could put the Usyk v AJ fight on the same card, now that would have been interesting, maybe if they put Mike Tyson on the undercard v someone I might be more interested.
That wasn't even a bad decision. You must be a diehard Fury fan or else new to the sport (which is fine).
I`m actually looking to see stuff about this fight on youtube more than actually watching the fight itself.
I would in interested if I had confidence in the winner fighting one of top fighters after this fight but I unfortunately don't.
same here. I’m going to boycott Because I don’t believe in rewarding Wilder my PPV loot. He does not deserve this 3rd fight arbitration or no arbitration. he has been schooled in every round vs Fury but possibly 2. Plus he is spoiling a giant unification bout that was already in place. If he truly believed in himself why not just take step aside money & then fight for all the nachos & “Guawp-A-mula” in a unification of his own vs the winner of Fury vs AJ? double dip Deontay!! At least that’s my POV.
it wasn’t a good decision either. Deontay won 2 rounds. All be it by knockdowns. & actually Fury fought back & pushed Wilder back in that round were Wilder practically obliterated him to possibly sneak a point back. he has more then dominated Wilder in 24 rounds. Fury has only lost 2 rounds. That’s some adelaye Bird type scoring in fight 1.
