This is hilarious! Lopez Sr. starts off by insisting that his son is the A-side in any negotiation. Then he spends the next two minutes name dropping celebrities to explain THEY will drive the PPV buys. I also like when he says it only costs $59.99...invite 7 or 8 people to go in on the fight with you and it comes out to a few dollars each. Although the promoters know people will have fight parties, I'm sure they'd prefer 7 or 8 people EACH pay $59.99 for the fight instead of pooling their money to do so. I've yet to see anything redeemable about Lopez Sr. The guy sounds like a complete turd. It's not fair to compare him to Angel Garcia. Angel may be crazy, funny, and somewhat delusional, but it's very easy to see how much he loves his SON. On the other hand, I think Lopez Sr. loves his FIGHTER.
Money and drinking. It's so sad that sport of boxing has this kind of characters, with no common sense and no integrity.
