jermain taylor was an excellent boxer, but he also had a worrying achilles heel that wasn't exposed at MW because there were no big punchers there to reveal it.
that doesn't tell the full story though, does it? canelo only has one crystal clear loss, and floyd clearly UD'd pacman. every time canelo wins it's money in the bank for floyd and his rep.
Totally different set up, Floyd's fights are for entertainment and money. Manny's fights are for legacy and money. Floyd's wins don't get added to his record but Manny's does. What Manny is doing does not relate to what Floyd is doing.
IMO This big fight is just 50/50. It's not gonna be 80/20 like you said. That's too far and exaggeration. Pacquiao is 8 Different Weight Classes World Champion. Don't forget that.
I think Spence will outbox him cautiously whilst Manny wins 5 or so rounds. I think Spence might get hurt but weathers the storm. Manny will get his big moment and Spence will just keep his guard up ala Mayweather. The rest of the fight Spence will just land enough each round to take them. If Manny can score just one knockdown he may be able to pull it off. I don't think he will here because Spence is like a sponge he absorbs punishment and recovers quite well. I think after round 7 fans will be thinking Manny needs at least a knockdown to win the fight and it'll add to the excitement. The first round will be tough for Spence but i think he'll see what Pacquiao brings to the table and make it harder for him landing with his left offsetting Pacquiao. I think ultimately Spence will bag rounds by taking Pacquiao out of his rhythm by offsetting him with his own left hand.
This content is protected Derrick got Spence on those Mayweather IVs too. Flushing dem PEDs out of his system. Isn't that right, @kiwi_boxer ?
