Fury ending a 9 year long, 17 title defences of a championsp reign definetly deserves a mention.

From the list, I'd take Erik Morales beating Manny Pacquiao.

Rigo vs Donaire absolutely needs to be on here.

Donaire was a prime top 5 p4p talent and at one of his best weightclasses. This fight put Rigondeux on the map for years to come.

What is with you and the Canelo Saunders non sense? You made sense with the GGG fight but are making yourself look like an ass when following it up with the Saunders crap.

GGG was the bigger win on paper, but it wasn't as decisive as the win over Saunders, and Saunders was younger. There's a lot that goes into what makes a win "best" or better than another win. Both GGG and Saunders were undefeated and both were massive victories for different reasons.

Dude, come on... Saunders? Beating Billy Joe Saunders is the biggest win of the 21st century? Just stop.

It broke the Indoor Attendance record in America. That's pretty "Big" don't you think? Saunders was an undefeated Title Holder.

You know how many people on this forum picked Saunders to win? Some said he would school Canelo. A good chunk of posters here had Saunders winning at the time of the stoppage.

Can you be real for a minute. I'm not saying that Saunders is a bigger name than any of these guys obviously. But there's a lot that goes into what makes a win "best", besides just how big of a name your opponent is. It's more than just getting the win, it's how you perform, it's the size of the event. I'm saying that based on big of an event it was, how intense the build up was, with the ring size drama, with how Gypsy's aren't quitters, with how Billy Joe was coming to win, with how competitive the match was, with how spectacular the 8th round was, with how dramatic it was to see Billy quit on his stool, with the fact that was over an undefeated Title Holder, these all combine to make it the best win of the century.

Find me a better buildup to a main event that had true drama and didn't disappoint. It's a matter of what your criteria is that makes a win better than another win. But just the fact that it set the indoor attendance record alone, that makes the event itself bigger than anything else this century. And to make your opponent quit on his stool, over a proud Gypsy man who said he was coming to win and would never quit, that makes the win better.

BJ is full of **** in general, so I dont really care what he said. He wasn't the top guy at 168, nor had he beaten a single top ten contender in that division.

It was a borderline top five win for Canelo (definitely behind GGG, Kovlaev, Lara, and Jacobs) and the attendance record was more reflective of the times (reopening after COVID, May 5th) and Canelo's singular drawing power than the quality of the match up, which was acceptable but far from an ATG. Benividez wouldve done similar or bigger numbers, as would have GGG and possibly Jermall.
