Very few I imagine. The many former NFL players who have committed suicide are proof that even if a person appears healthy and lucid on the outside, they could still be falling apart on the inside.
Currently, George Foreman. Of the deceased, Max Schmeling, who died at 99, seems to have spent his last years lucid and in good health.
Max deserved it. He was good till the end and a deeply caring man who deserves to be remembered as nothing short of a hero. Yet few know of this man who risked his life to save people from the country who worshipped him what a sad, sad poetic life.
The mind is a great servant and a terrible master. This is why being surrounded with love is so important in our weakest moments.
Lots of research is showing that multiple head trauma causes low testosterone in the future and with that is associated depression, low sex drive, weight gain, poor memory etc. It's sad to see.
I think Archie Moore was doing well mentally in his old age. He died in 1998 and I remember him being very sharp just a few years earlier. I'm not sure but I can't remember anything about dementia or anything like that.
