You just won a night out to the movies and a nice dinner with CJ with that Margarito comment lol.

As much as I want Pac to win and he very well still may, Spence is a tall order at 42 years old.

No. He was ruffed up against Jeff Horn and clearly lost. As usually he claimed robbery.

 

I'll give you the Margarito, and maybe a little more, but he's not as skilled as Marquez or Mayweather. That's overstating things a little. He's bigger and stronger than both though.

We don't have to even go all the way back to Margarito. We could compare Spence to Jeff Horn whom he's taller, longer, stronger, faster, and more technical than.

I don't see any way for Pacquiao to win this short of Spence getting injured or a one in a million lucky punch. **** happens, (Cotto vs Martinez, Backus vs Napoles, Ali vs Foreman, Tyson vs Douglas, Spinks vs Holmes, Brown vs Norris, Rahman vs Lewis, Johnson vs Jones Jr, Ruiz vs Joshua) but not often. It would be absolutely shocking.

I have him and Floyd in the top 13-14 all time already so he'd probably go up a few steps into the top ten, but you need such a huge body of work to be in that top ten. Robinson, Armstrong, Greb, Charles, Moore, Duran, Walker, have legacies which are almost insurpassable for anyone with a record less than three digits.

Why do a lot of people turn noobish when Pac suddenly turns up with a legacy defining fight.

1. Pac is the quickest WW out there and if you think somebody retreating on straight lines can outmaneuver Pac, please study boxing more. Pac has done to Thurman what everybody thought he can't do. Move forward so fast whilst generating enough torque behind his fists to put you down.

2. While we're on the subject of Spence's habits, particularly he's retreating and attacking in straight lines, just, no people. Just because they are both southpaws doesn't mean Pac can't make an angle. The right hook, left of the top and right cross are still all there. FFS learn some boxing. Pac WILL create those angels you best believe it.

3. While we're on the subject of southpaws, anybody here thinking Spence's experience trumps Pac's experience fighting, southpaw or not, deserves a permanent ban. Just. No people.

4. Pacquiao is slow? Are you on some sort of ecstacy that makes these videos slow down? Sure he's not flyweight fast anymore, but slow? And Spence can match Pac's speed? Are you on some coke that speeds up Spence's videos that makes it on par with Pac's speed?

5. WHY ARE YOU ALL REFERRING TO HORN AS IF PAC LOST THAT AND DIDN'T COMPLETE RECONFIGURED HORN'S FACE WORSE THAN CRAWFORD DID.

6. Pressure fighters gave Pac issues? Yeah, let's all look at Margarito's, Horn's and Rios' faces after they fought Pac.

Spence is no Marquez. JMM is one of the best combination counterpuncher OF ALL TIME. AND HE FOUGHT PAC 36 ROUNDS BEFORE HE LANDED THE PERFECT PUNCH WHILE GETTING BLOODIDED HIMSELF.

There is only one way that Spence is going to win and that is stay on the outside, potshot and tie up Pacquiao when Pac comes in. Maybe get a few punches in at close range since that's the only advantage he has over Pac which is the inside game. Middle range belongs to Pac.
If Spence thinks he can exchange with Pac like how Thurman thought, then good, he's going to get knocked down and lose.
It takes Pac a couple of rounds before figuring out an opponent's jab. He even did it to Mayweather. Any other less opponent he completely nullified their jabs. Yes that especially includes the lefty Diaz.

And please get your acts straight. Don't go saying Pac has zero chance then follow it up with you're still not rating him as the GOAT if he pulls the upset. Or at least top 5 ATG. GTFO with those inconsistencies.

 

i will go ahead and call it now. the favorite excuse after the fight will be "pac got old". thats how most will be explaining their lack of boxing knowledge.
