Wlad's only chance is for Lewis to underestimate him and not prepare properly like with McCall and Rahman.
A fully fit and prepared Lewis I don't care if Wlad has Manny Steward in his corner or not, NOBODY that fights Lennox Lewis is going to avoid that right hand the whole fight. That china's getting cracked.

I also favor Lewis, but you have to remember Wlad also has a right hand, and according to Manny Steward, he hit harder than Lewis.
A big right hand can end the fight for either man.

I've seen this thread a million times, and thats good because i love to see the arguments LOL

I favor Lewis of course but it would be tentative in the early rounds and Klitschko will be outjabbing him with Lewis pressing the action and outworking Klitschko in the mid rounds. I expect Lewis to win by late KO or close decision. This will obviously be one of Lewis's hardest fights, up there with Mercer and Holyfield

See Golata and Grant results for Lewis to see how this plays out

Those two had iron chins , Wlad didn't. Wlads mental and physical weakness to hard combat could make it a very easy contest for Lennox

Interestingly enough, when Emanuel and Wlad teamed up, they had a pre-arranged agreement on that point - where, in the event Lewis made a comeback and challenged Wlad, Steward would work with Lennox in that match-up.

The flip side of that coin is that Lewis could be knocked out too. I’d favor Lennox but not by a wide margin

Wlad punched harder, was faster, and was by miles a better boxer. That said, though, Lennox threw better combos, and had a better chin (despite getting KOd in both of his losses.) I think it’s a tough fight for him but Wlad notches it by a few rounds.

I have never viewed this speculative match-up as amounting to much of a contest.

Lewis wins - and it's a very early night.
