Oscar had a much closer fight against a much younger Mayweather when he was fading whereas Canelo got badly schooled by an older Floyd when he was much younger

The reason Golovkin went to DAZN is because he was promised the third Canelo fight. Canelo is still avoiding him. Maybe when Golovkin retires Canelo will agree to it.

I didn't hear GGG calling for Canelo to fight him again. All we have to go on is fans like you saying GGG wanted that fight. GGG has fought exactly one tme in the last year and a half. He's not an active fighter at this point. GGG Canelo 3 was not going to happen during the pandemic in front of no fans. I don't think Canelo respects GGG or has any interest in fighting GGG again, you could call that ducking but what does he have to gain by fighting GGG again who's pushing 40? If he wins again, he won't get credit because GGG is seen as too old and he already beat him. If GGG really wants the fight he needs to call Canelo out and make it clear that he wants the fight. GGG seems content fighting second tier opposition at this state in his career which is probably a good idea for him. I don't see GGG wanting to fight the P4P #1, Canelo has only got better since they fought and GGG's older. Could GGG even hang with Canelo anymore? Do you really think it's a good idea for GGG to chase another Canelo fight? Would GGG be able to survive another 12 rounds against Canelo at his advanced old man age? The best thing Canelo can do for his legacy is to fight fighters that are closer to his age which is what he's been doing, and become undisputed at 168 by fighting Plant. If GGG really wants it, then make it known, give an interview challenging Canelo saying Canelo's ducking him. I don't hear any such rhetoric from GGG. GGG hasn't so much as uttered Canelo's name since their fight.
