In my eyes Artur Beterbiev was the most heavy handed boxer until watching Subriel Matias beat down Jukembayev. Matias punches are like artillery fire, they are rapid and go right through you. What surprised me even more is that it looks like he is arm punching but somehow he is delivering insane amount of damage that he is forcing his opponents to quit.

Imagine if Amir Khan has the chin of Golovkin or Canelo, and the punching power of Beterbiev? Well that's what Subriel Matias is. His stamina looks great too, and his defence is not as bad as people say, he likes a toe-to-toe fight and has the Puerto Rican machismo. Not to mention he punches in bunches. His power would carry up to light heavy weight and above, easily.

Subriel Matias will dominate 140 lbs. Once anyone at 140 lbs feels his power they will crumble.

Matias is a weight bully and still does not look as a gruelling puncher as Beterbiev

Prograis eats too many punches, he will get stopped by Super Matias.

Are you saying that because he's 5 ft 9 inches. I assume Josh Taylor is the same height? He doesn't look like a weight bully to me. What makes you think that?

Frame/overall size.. Height does not make someone a weight bully

What are you talking about? He's 5'8''. Josh Taylor is 5'10''. What do you consider as "big"? Did you see him next to Ananyan? No size difference at all. Did you see him next to Jukembayev? No size difference at all. He has a great frame with long limbs. That's it. So has Ramirez for example. Calling Matias a weight bully is just stupid. Tank Davis is a weight bully.

I'm surprised a boxer like Matias with long limbs can generate so much power in short punches. Usually it's short limbed boxers like Berterbiev that can generate powerful short punches.

I think lomg limbed boxers like him have a solid advantage if they use the full ROM to load up on punches, especially hooks. It's not the common "phone booth slugging", he's also throwing a lot of wide hooks from close-mid range. I think short limbed boxers have the advantage in super close range but guys like Matias can generate even more power in close-mid range.

Matias is just an anomally. It was impressive how he walked through and destroyed Jukeymbayev.

Matias doesn't have the chin of Canelo or Golovkin, he was hurt quite a bit by Jukambayev and technically knocked down by Petros Ananyan. His style is fun but it'll end with him being sparked.

I guarantee that won't happen. Jukembayev has a very high KO% and is Kazakh, yet he never hurt Matias. What you think you saw was actually Matias being off balance. About the Petros Ananyan fight, you should know the circumstances behind that fight, that fight doesn't mean much.

Nope, I saw Matias rocked badly and saved by the bell. I thought he won the Ananyan fight but regardless he was on ***** street when he got nailed in the seventh. He looked himself for most of that fight too and he got a brutal KO win in his immediate fight after Dadashev so that nonsense excuse doesn't stick. He is very capable of being hurt and wide open for it, admit it.
