I understand that a lot of these fighters have loyalty to MTK and probably get 'extra benefits' so to speak with what comes with MTK, but the Lee McGregors of this world would be so much better off fighting regularly under Warren/BT or Hearn & co.

A genuine good fighter is Lee but you get more hype and promotion of Kash Farooq.

Because they are on more money than their value. MTK pay him very decent money which is mental considering they have no ticket sales and screen their shows on YouTube. I think mtk are being monitored quite closely at the minute so are having to move shows in other territories

The thing is with Lee is he is following Josh Taylor’s footpath. But he only has to look at the fact that Taylor’s fight this week was not shown in the Uk by a top outlet and his American promoters tried to stack the cards against him.

I can understand what Lee is doing in that he will get himself to a good position then go with the promoter that can offer him the big fights. Which in his division is Top Rank. But if he was able to get some promotion behind him his value would be much stronger when he gets to that position.

My guess is he fights Kurihara or Palicte. Let’s Inoue clear the division out as he won’t have to fight an IBF mandatory again for 2 years by which time he moves up and McGregor fights Butler for the vacant title.

The Sky PC Brigade need to give approval and the BBC programme exposing the drug baron behind MTK has so far resulted in MTK cards only appearing on their own website and you tube channel.

If Andy Gray and Keys got the red card for those comments about the female linesmen, then it will be very difficult to get Sky coverage for MTK cards.

MTK would provide better cards and fights on Sky than Matchroom.

Never said it was and I have been critical on here about all drug dealing scum including MTK.

Just pointing out to another poster, who thought that MTK cards would be on Sky when Matchroom left, that there is a huge PC Brigade at Sky which makes it a huge hurdle to overcome to get any MTK cards on Sky.

The one thing that did surprise me is the huge number and range of boxers signed up to MTK including our current top two Josh Taylor and Tyson Fury. Many of these fighters do appear on Sky and BT!!!!!

As for convicted drug dealers in class A drugs, in a less PC world, they deserve to be hung by the testicles, all assets confiscated and handed over to the health authorities dealing with drug addiction.

Fair do's Jurgen I see where your coming from. We perhaps should have a seperate thread on MTK. Lots to discuss. The boxers just want to earn a few quid but its a strange run business. I suppose you just hold your nose and sign. A moral maze
