So I saw highlights of Izu Ugonoh's last fight were he clearly received an illegal punch to the head, and the biased referee counted him out. Then he goes into MMA and took another loss.

He should have gotten out of Poland and gone to train in the US or UK, anywhere else to be honest, rather than switch to MMA after that biased referee counted him out after getting hit by an illegal blow instead of giving him time to recover. It's either the referee got paid off or it is something else.

I don't know whether it's loyalty or something, but he should know Poland is not a boxing country, they're a bunch of tough guys which makes a good environment for mma but not boxing. Now his career is done.

He got beaten down and KO'd by this flabby middle aged douche, and realized this sport wasn't for him.

Did he fire Kevin Barry? Ugonoh looked really bad, reminded me of Logan Paul in the KSI fight, only worse.

It seems losing to Dominic Breazel really affected him. Also Ugonoh doesn't have the stamina for boxing, he should speak to Jean Pascal

Should have been working on his stamina instead pushing all those pencils.

It depends how you look at this.
Poland had not bad amateur boxing, they looks that had been impacted by WW2 1939-1945 and 1945-1992 was period without pro boxing.
There ofc also economic struggles 1989-1994 had impacted everything in Poland.

Polish boxing does have not so bad examples.
Ali had boxed for Olympic Gold medal vs polish boxer from Poland.
I might link to article with photo of young Ali, how fresh he then looked;):)

He should stayed with the puny cruiserweights. These huge overweight behemoths were simply to much for him. Same thing is going to happen to that scrawny Usyk!

    Usyk is not from Poland.
I think he did correct choice, guys here are a bit obsessed with It's heavyweight mantra and It's puny cruiserweight mantra.

I do know that CW boxing is disrespected by US boxing fans etc.

Do you really think that for Usyk in his

age and shape to beat Dorticos had been easier than to fight vs Chisora?
Of course, it is " puny CW ":p.

I really do know that you never will admit this but to beat Dorticos is more difficult task than to beat Chisora.
    It's puny cruiserweight.:nonono.

He's well into his 30s now. He was 30 when he faced Breazeale. If you lose in 5 rounds to Breazeale and you're already 30 years old, it's safe to say you're unlikely to ever be a good heavyweight boxer.

There were people on here saying he'd beat Joshua.
Even AFTER the Breazeale fight there were people saying he had the style to beat Joshua.

I enjoyed Ugonoh for what he was, but anybody who gets battered by Dominic Breazeale is wasting their time.

I think he lost his last MMA fight by TKO? For what it's worth him vs Breazeale was an entertaining fight
