I know some people gave him those rounds, and you probably have an argument on clean punching in rounds like that. I just wish you would take that same mindset into some of Canelo's matches where he may have been getting out volumed but landed the cleaner punches.

Canelo is an highly overrated counter puncher?

Teofimo won 1-7 + 12. Easy fight to score. Not much dissent you'd think you'd have shame. Difficult to screw up but hey when you have rainbow sunglasses with blinders on, anything is possible.

Rounds 2 and 6 is clean punching (Loma) vs ineffective aggression (Lopez).. There are many who score the same rounds for Loma and for good reason. I'm not surprised there are people who have scored these for Lopez based on the fact it is difficult to see what happens real time and Bradley jizzing himself at everything Lopez threw regardless of landing.

Apparently no different than you jizzing yourself with Lomos 3 punches per round, so be nice.

Besides, what are you on about? Lomo isn't in the same conversation as Canelo and Inoue anymore. It's a two man race.

I would have Canelo, Inoue, and Usyk as 1,2, and 3. I actually think Usyk has the best resume, but in terms of what have you done for me lately, I’d have to put Canelo first and Inoue second. I just don’t understand how some people still have Crawford as first or second. You’d have to be basing that off what he did years ago at 140. Either that or you have the philosophy that once you reach the top of the P4P list, you can’t lose your spot unless someone beats you in the ring.

I'm more impressed with Inoue and he hasn't had a suspect increase in punching power nor did he ever test positive but resume wise i feel Canelo clearly edges him.

A suspect increase in punching power? When did that happen? He brutalized Liam Smith to the body 5 years ago, made him curl up into a ball on the canvas. He knocked Amir Khan out cold 5 years ago. He demolished James Kirkland 6 years ago. He's showed he had devastating punching power many many years ago.

The most valid arguments for Inoue being #1 is the perception that he is more skilled and that if they were of equal size Inoue would win. That's fair. I can't say I agree with those who believe Inoue would blast him, however, seeing as Inoue couldn't smash a long-faded Donaire.

The idea that Inoue is more dominant doesn't hold much water for me, though, because the gap in competition level is significant. Alvarez has fought much better opposition. Dominating the McDonnell's, Payano's, Moloney's, etc. of the world just isn't that interesting. Inoue hasn't come near a p4p-level guy. Alvarez has been in with 2-3 (Mayweather, Lara, and Golovkin). And forget the alphabet trinkets, Alvarez is also the only one of the two to become the Champion. I don't see the Ring title that Inoue won against Rodriguez as equitable.

For me, Alvarez is clearly the top dog. I don't say that as some devoted fan of his, I say that as someone who combines the measures we generally include in these assessments--competition level, skill level, and activity--to reach that conclusion.

Let's see Canelo fought Floyd, Cotto, Khan, Kovalev, GGG, Jacobs these fighters a leagues above what Inoue has fought so far in his career.

Really Maloney, Payano, Rodriguez and Donaire probably the only elite on his resume. An old Donayri at that.So this is a no contest. It's Clenelo by a mile.

god there are some awful posts in this thread... and that is very close to the top of that list

TIP: the irrational hate is WAY too strong in that post bro ;)

let me guess... you think that Golovkin is a fearless warrior, right? ... despite the fact that he lied to his idiot fans for YEARS... despite the fact that he took the path of least resistance every single time... and despite the fact that even after 15 years as a pro, he still has a poor resume and no signature win

    very good post

I do not see this supposed gap between Inoue and Canelo at all... Canelo has phenomenal defence, a very high skill-level, and he has excellent ring-IQ... beside that, he is VERY well-rounded with few flaws, and he is one of the best counter-punchers in the game... and the main point is... like you alluded to, he has much more TOP level experience...

You fit into that category I mention of stupid fanboy naive enough to follow and suck all this **** up.

If this is an awful post Id like to see you muster up some kind of response at least to the facts I stated about Canelos opposition at 168... So you're telling me Smith has a good resume and didn't deserve to lose Ryder? And that he also wasn't given a short camp? So you're also telling me Billy Joe had fought legit opposition since 2017, I'd like to know who that is please? And that his last 3 fights he looked meh?And you're also telling me Canelo won more than 5 rounds in both GGG fights lmao.. You're fanboyism is off the charts..

And no unlike you I don't give a **** about worshipping men, GGGs resume is just as **** as Canelo's... But that's in part becuase all these pansies ducked him when he wasn't aged. Funny how Jacobs, Canelo etc all wanted to fight once he showed signs of age ay

    Don't dig yourself a hole
