I don't think Canelo is scared of anybody at SMW. Certainly Benavidez is the one at that weight most likely to give Canelo issues though. Benvidez is a huge guy at the weight with a heavy punch and a busy all-action style. He's within the scope of Canelo to beat but he's also a legitimate risk for Canelo. I don't think Canelo will fight Benavidez unless he has to or until Benavidez offers a sufficient financial reward for doing so.

Canelo probably beats him today, but he wouldn't be having 4 fights in 12ish months if one of them was Benavidez. That's part of the risk, he couldn't move fast enough to get all the belts.

Canelo may have still moved up but he'd have to be cautious as Benavidez is a solid fighter in his prime and can punch, factors that Canelo tends to avoid in his opponents.

There's nothing in Benavidez to concern Canelo imo, he's already beaten vastly superior opposition.

Let it go, man. GGG was going to knock Canelo out cold in the first fight, never even came close to happening. Then after getting “robbed”, Wilder, I mean GGG, was so angry that he was going to murder Canelo in the second fight, that didn’t happen neither.
What do you think will happen in a third fight? Don’t get me wrong, I’d still like to see it, but to think GGG does any better is not realistic.

That's my point. Canelo knows what he's doing. If he's avoiding a rematch it's because he knows he can't beat GGG and I'm going to call him out for running. If he takes the fight it's because he knows GGG has nothing left and I'm going to call him out for cherry picking.

    I'm on to Canelo!

Yes he would have. I think Canelo genuinely thinks he beats everyone at SMW without much effort hence the decision to stay at the weight. Canelo is a fairly smart guy, he knows that he matches up fairly well against everyone at the weight. I think he has a lot of pause as to whether there are certain MWs (who I'm not naming because we know who they are) that he can beat and look good doing it. Those MWs would pierce that aura of (pfp) king that he has, even if he wins, he would look less than (pfp).

Exactly! It's like I've been saying, why fight the #2 super middleweight in the world and unify the division when the #3 middleweight in the world (Andrade) has been calling you out?

And of course if he does decide to fight Andrade it'll be because his team has calculated that Andrade will be less effective at 168, and I will rightfully call Canelo out for ducking real super middleweights in favor of undersized middleweights.

And if he attempts to move back down to middleweight for any of those fights it's because his team has calculated that he could be a devastating weight bully with all the extra mass he's put on. I will be there to call him out on ducking the entire SMW division to cherry pick small fighters.

And he wouldn't dare move up again to light heavyweight, but if he does it'll be another pathetic attempt to beat up on a past prime fighter like Beterbiev, and he would deserve no credit for winning that fight.

Honestly, the entire middleweight range of boxing, from 154-175 is crap right now and Team Canelo knows it and that's why they picked this era to launch Canelo's career and not another one. Could you imagine him in the Super Six tournament??

The fact you don't offer 'yes' as an option kinda gives away how little you believe your own words. I mean, you don't think they're gonna convince others for a reason....

You are since 15 years on this forum, I assume you are watching boxing for at least 15 years, but you still dksab. You mean Canelo is afraid of Andrade, who went life and death with Liam Williams, whose best win is some ranked 46 Alantez Fox? I hope you are trolling
