I don't feel that much about it, it's like soldiers in a war, sometimes bad things are going to happen. Maybe it sounds bad but for for me its more about how it makes the sport look to the public. The public freaks out about fatalities.

It comes with the profession. Getting smacked in the head repeatedly has a higher than normal mortality associated with it.

My thoughts on this have always been, if they chose this profession on their own accord knowing full well of the consequences, including injury and in some cases death, then the outrage shouldn't be that high. Now if the fighter dies because of something illegal (concrete gloves ala Luis Resto, low blows, punches to the back of the head, etc...) then yeah, the outrage is legitimate but other than that, as Floyd always says, "it comes with the territory".

I also agree that people die all the time in a variety of professions and that it is part of life. I used to do BMX for many years throughout high school and college and I would see guys trying to go too big and fall really hard. Most of the time they would pick themselves up and keep going but I knew of many that would fall/hurt themselves and would not get back up...and in many cases, become completely paralyzed.

Death and serious injuries suck but it's part of life...

It's always horrible to hear that a fighter has died but no different to hearing anyone has died before their time.

Boxers know the risk, many sports are dangerous and can result in death or serious injury, boxing might not even be the most dangerous.

If he dies in the ring or after the fight, then he dies with honor
otherwise, he will die eventually ...

Well, if people in internet conversate about death in the ring, they most likely assume that this was damn watchable thing like Rocky films here or cinema films with images as TMA heroes.

I had saw some vidoes form fights where lad had died.
    1. amateur boxing fight. Expertise and investigation find out that here all was according rules and regulations.
Lads fought, one guy lost on points and this was not like cinema or funny videos.
No one there had been dropped down. Guy died after this fight.
    2. amateur KB fight. young lads, nothing so watchable, ref stopped this fight. Coffin.
    3. am TKD with 2 mature and experienced adults. 1 kick landed on him, all ended with this one.
    4. hard sparring, not am or pro boxing. Counter with punch in the chest, 0 gloves here. Coffin.

Really nothing impressive for fans to watch like cinema or pro 12 rounders.
Sadly even boring to watch this.

i am sad that it happens. how ever it is a combat sport. and no one is forcing them to perform.
you bring up a point. when a boxer DOES die from the results of a bout, there are calls to ban the sport. yet, when a person dies as a result while performing in another sport, you do not hear the same cries for banning said sport. i remember when dale earhardt died when he crashed into the wall. he was the "michael jordan", "babe ruth" of nascar. never heard a peep of banning nascar when that happened. nascar usually has a driver or two EVERY season die or SERIOUSLY injured due to crashes.

Just like anyone that dies doing something they love. I find a small amount of ease knowing this. Not everyone dies doing what they love.
