11 KO's in 39 wins so not exactly someone you would say could hit but he had wins over Zab, Mayorga etc but also had 6 KO's in the first two rounds not against elite opposition grated but that to me implies he had some kind of dig on him.

Here's some that comes to my mind:

    Joe Miceli
With only 28 knockouts in 60 wins, Miceli was a welterweight contender from the 1950s, he is known for his explosive left hook that could anybody with one shot. His knockout over Wallace "Bud" Smith speaks for itself and he's the only fighter to knock Jay Fullmer out.

    Juan LaPorte
With only 22 knockouts in 40 wins, LaPorte's knockout record simply did not speak for his power, considering he is the only man to knock the iron chinned Rocky Lockridge with one punch! Something not even Julio Cesar Chavez, Wilfredo Gomez, Sharmba Mitchell and Rafael Ruelas were able to do. Barry McGuigan, former featherweight world champion raved highly of LaPorte's power stating he brought him back to his childhood.

    Freddie Steele
With only 58 knockouts in 123 wins, Freddie Steele seems like an average, but with the help of the existing film of him, he seem more like a life taker than an average puncher. He has knockout wins over the Gus Lusnevich and also knocked out durable Caferino Garcia twice which both knockouts came in the 2nd round.

    Lloyd Marshall
With only 36 knockouts in 70 wins, Marshall punching power doesn't seem that threatening. but don't be fooled by it because his knockout over Freddie Mills is second to terrifying and he also became the first fighter to knock out the great Ezzard Charles. He even knocked out durable Frankie Daniels and lift Charley Burley off his feet! Legendary champion Archie Moore stated that Marshall is the most explosive puncher with both hands, ranking him the 2nd hardest puncher he's ever fought.

    Michael Spinks
With only 21 knockouts in 31 wins, Spinks knockout percentage is only 67%. Pretty low for a guy recognized as one of the hardest punching light heavyweights of all time. Pretty much everybody in his era who fought him said Spinks hit the hardest including: Yaqui Lopez, Murray Sutherland, Marvin Johnson and Vonzell Johnson.

    Clarence Henry
With only 19 knockouts in 34 wins, Henry is a very obscure heavyweight fighter from the 1950s. "Wooosshh! What a puncher!" exclaimed heavyweight Bob Baker after their bout. He knocked out Bob Baker who was only kayoed 3 times in his 68 pro bouts an Bob Satterfield once said Henry was the fastest and hardest puncher before he met Cleveland Williams. He also knocked iron chinned Bob Murphy and tough Rusty Payne.

    Oakland Billy Smith
With only 33 knockouts in 58 wins, Smith was never an average puncher. Smith, as I said, was a hard hard puncher. Just before that fight he spotted about 30 pounds to willie bean, who I think was some kind of california state champion or something similar. He was so much bigger than smith that when bean's back was toward the tv camera you couldn't even see smith. Round five and boom... SMith landed one of his bombs and bean was down and out.

I had never watched a Rocky Castellani fight until about a year or so ago. I always thought he was a boxer with his 18 KOs out of 69 wins. I was always aware that he dropped Sugar Ray for a count of '9', but I always thought it must've been an anomaly. Anyways, the fight I watched of Rocky's was his second bout with Johnny Bratton. And it was a revelation to me because, lo and behold, Rocky Castellani was a banger. Mostly of the clubbing variety, but just really hard-banging, especially on the inside. Again, a very mis-leading KO percentage to a guy I now consider a banger.
