As the title suggests. Who in your opinion had the longest streak of fights in which you consider them to be at their absolute best and for how many fights was that for?

If you're talking about one of the best prime unbeaten streaks, it's either Jimmy Wilde (103) or Sugar Ray Robinson (91). Tbh, I'd rank SRR's unbeaten streak to be the best out of any other unbeaten streak as he defeated and outclassed way more Hall of Fame opposition after getting defeated to LaMotta in 1943 to getting defeated by Turpin in 1951(which he avenged by brutal TKO). In that timespan of about 8 years, SRR defeated Hall of Famers like Armstrong, LaMotta, Angott, Kid Gavilan, and Bobo Olson. That's pretty damn impressive to me.

SRR is the obvious one but it can be any fighter that you thought was great for a 4 fight period say.

    I guess I didn't say what I meant properly.:duh

There's a big difference between being unbeaten and being at your absolute peak. For the latter I doubt anyone has had more than half a dozen, and that would be exceptional.

Louis from 1937-1948. Longest reigning undisputed heavyweight champion.
Lewis from 1995-2001. Beat an incredible amount of respected contenders and finally became the undisputed heavyweight champion in 1999.
Liston from 1958-1963. Destroyed everybody who were ranked in the top 10 except for cooper, who admitted he ran for his life and refused to fight him, the most dominant march to the title.
