Apparently you are unfamiliar with the concept of making adjustments, improving focus etc that enhance a fighter's performance from one fight to the next.

Indeed, by your logic, Mayweather should not have been able to defeat Castillo decisively in the rematch, because well if was going to do it, he'd have done it in the first fight. The same could be said for Lewis-Rahman II.

Moreover, whether you know it or not is immaterial. Salido and his team did, hence the reluctance to rematch the kid.

Mayweather beat him the first time but Loma lost. Lewis had enough sense to have had a rematch clause, plus at heavyweight, anybody can get knocked out. To be honest, I don't think that Loma would've given Salido a rematch if he had won.

But Mayweather won decisively in the rematch, indicating an improvement in his focus and or/tactics or both. And that was exactly my point. Leonard lost to Duran in the first fight. How did the rematch transpire? Similarly, Terry Norris was knocked out by Simon Brown in their initial bout. How did the rematch end??

I could go on and on. Thus, to suggest that a fighter can't produce a dramatically different result in a rematch because he would have done it in the first fight if he could have, is patently absurd and ahistorical.

Feel free, however, to have the last word if you like.

I think that no and first reason there is concern that will be he able to make weight.
To do proper title fight without questions at first one should make weight in limit.
Undefeated pro boxing records are for casual dumb and selfish, hypocrite and paying customers, mainly in western world.
    Dumb, nice paying customers.

Boxing fans are stupid, most dumbest sport fans from all kinds of sports fans and this will last till the end of world.

Ametuer status. Means nothing as a pro. Haney at 22, world champ, beat Ex champs, undefeated. Haney whoop ex-Champs at 22, Loma whooping ametuers. LOL

You act like Loma is the only one who could have improved, Salido could've improved himself just as well and the fight could've turned out the same way. You said that Loma would've mopped the floor with Salido in a rematch and I disagreed then and I disagree now.
