Indeed, by your logic, Mayweather should not have been able to defeat Castillo decisively in the rematch, because well if was going to do it, he'd have done it in the first fight. The same could be said for Lewis-Rahman II. Moreover, whether you know it or not is immaterial. Salido and his team did, hence the reluctance to rematch the kid.
Mayweather beat him the first time but Loma lost. Lewis had enough sense to have had a rematch clause, plus at heavyweight, anybody can get knocked out. To be honest, I don't think that Loma would've given Salido a rematch if he had won.

You act like Loma is the only one who could have improved, Salido could've improved himself just as well and the fight could've turned out the same way. You said that Loma would've mopped the floor with Salido in a rematch and I disagreed then and I disagree now.
