Sweet, now lets hope nothing happens between now and then to derail that like another Usyk injury.

No No No No No No, he is supposed to duck Usyk. This isn't meant to happen.

I'd like to see the smaller Usyk put on a boxing lesson. Gotta go for the man that challenges himself.

To be fair, it was Eddie himself who was saying they might duck Usyk.

Good fight and the first AJ fight to really interest me since the Parker fight

I don't think he ever said "duck" and I think he said that Usyk was the fight he wanted to make but that they had other options if Usyk didn't play ball on the demands.

    Gassiev in Russia
    Briedis in Latvia
    Glowacki in Poland
    Huck in Germany
    Bellew in England

^^All current or former world champions at the time

    Hunter in the US
    Chisora in England

Gassiev, Briedis, Glowacki and Hunter were all undefeated

And now he's signed to face the way bigger, heavier, stronger, and more powerful AJ in England where everything is stacked against him, where he will likely have to win via shutout or KO to get the win, after only having fought twice in almost three years, and he's going to have to beat him twice if he wins the first fight

What was that you were saying about the size of his plums, Serge?

The only one of Usyk's last 10 fights (including the AJ one) which wasn't in his opponent's backyard is Mchunu who is a damned good fighter in his own right and that was on neutral soil

He didn't just win his world titles in his opponent's backyards, he defended and unified them in their backyards and didn't have a single home ref or judge in any of those fights

Every single fight Usyk has had at the world level has been in his opponent's backyard sans one and as said that was on neutral soil

    Unheard of
