Struggling with an alcoholic Kovalev won't prepare Ward for one of the hardest punchers in light heavyweight history who also possessed a lazer jab. Ward might make the distance , he won't win.

I actually think Foster cracks him. Kova beat him with a simple one-two and dumped him on his seat. Foster catches and finishes him.

Foster stops Ward within 8 rounds. Just a dangerous fighter for a guy like Ward.

I don't think Ward has much of chance. Over 12 he might last the distance, over 15 he gets knocked out without a doubt.

Foster comfortably. Ward does not have the footspeed of a Conn to stay away and clinching with Bob ain't going to work.

Foster's razor jab alone would dominate Ward and when the dynamite left hook comes, well, its curtains.

Foster in what could only be described as death by jab.

Bob Foster may not have had any luck against heavyweights but he was sure dominant at 175 lbs. H won the title on May 24 1968, stopping champion D. Tiger in round 4. Bob did have a long accurate left jab, good movement, and a brutal left hook. A lanky 175 lb champion, who defended against the likes of Frankie De Paula, Chris Finnegan, Ray Anderson, Mike Quarry, Roger Rouse, Mark Tessman, Hal Carroll, Pierre Fourie, Tommy Hicks, and unified the title, knocking out Vicente Rondon, KO 2. His last title defense was a 15 round draw against Jorge Ahumada on June 17 1974. Foster retired as champion. Andre Ward was a slick light heavyweight but the question is, could he take Foster's blows. Bob by TKO 6.
