I've got time today............... First you mention how can Floyd be the GOAT....., First I don't think Floyd is anywhere near the GOAT, not even top 15 you're trying to argue a point I could care less about. Then you bring up Maidana.....no one thinks Maidana won except people who openly dislike Floyd. Also, as for the 4th fight, you literally said Pac was winning until he lost (conclusively). Is that the hill you really wanna die on? You can add what you want, at no point in time throughout their careers would Floyd have lost to Manny. You really pulled the 1-2 division naturally higher card than Manny and that's laughable. Everybody both of them fought were naturally larger. Cotto was a giant and Pac washed him. Shane, Margarito, David Diaz etc... Hell if you wanna go that route Marquez, Barrera, Morales are all naturally bigger. See how ludicrous that sounds? He's simply a stylistic foil. Manny's best chance would've been the raw version, the one who can't really be anticipated. Once Manny became "polished", his fate was sealed against a thinker like Floyd. He became more of a thinker in the ring and you can't out think Floyd. And for you to say "that's not even excuses" you sure gave a lot of them. This doesn't even warrant a response
At the minute, I have Floyd ahead of Pac by a whisker in terms of ATG status. A draw with Spence would reverse the pair in my rankings. A win would catapult Pac into my top ten.
I'm in no way shape or form claiming Floyds innocents when it come the IV Gate. What I find odd is how the testing officials were able to get into the house and walk into where Floyd was without a heads up. That's like someone breaking into a house right where the police are parked. Understand what I'm saying?
USADA agents visited Mayweather for a random drug test after the weigh-in While there, USADA agents found evidence that an illegal IV had been administered to Mayweather. For some reason they granted Mayweather a waiver, and didn't notify the commission or Pac's camp until 2 weeks after the fight.
I understand that. Someone should have seen those guys coming a long way off. Plus his house is huge. Something doesn't add up. For him to have the IV in his arm when these guys show up. I'm sure they just didn't walk into his house and walked around until they found him.
"A few more steps and we'll be safe in the fire swamp." "We'll never survive!" (Princess) "Nonsense! You're only saying that because no one ever has!"
Pacs win over Spence would be on par with his win over Saskul IMO. While Sasakul was no ATG he was a damn good fighter. A very high level fighter in his prime. He beat the best Flyweight of his era. And Pac beat him in his prime while being an undernourished teenager. He should never have won that fight. Similar situation against Spence. Pacquiao is 42 and fighting a quality bigger man. He should without a doubt lose this fight.
