I agree. I think he’s a horrible man for the phone call stuff mainly. He has wasted his career by inactivity and fighting no one but he is very good. I watched the fight the next day and the way people were going on I was expecting a one sided beat down. It certainly wasn’t and he was doing well and enjoying a few good rounds at the time of stoppage. I’d dare say Canelo looked a bit worried but just like the Kovalev fight etc he always seems to find a way even when losing.

 

Wow I’m shocked...the lack of support for a high achiever British boxer is shocking....

 

Hard though isn't it....does her really represent brits? Is he relatable to you? I kinda find him funny but then he just takes it well overboard. Just listened to him talking to a man about shagging his wife after reading a comment on here. And then there is just so much other stuff which you think.....ahh he's just saying it tongue in cheek.....but then he does stuff that makes you realize it isn't just tongue in cheek.

Good fighter, but a disrespectful fella who deserves all the backlash.

And he did quit even though the corner technically pulled it. There was no objection or motivation to carry on. People would give 99.9% of people the pass on that.....but not after the rubbish BJS has spouted and disrespecting other "quitters"

 

It seems a simple choice to me, money or pride.

Take the rematch and lose to Eubank or ride (in his horse and carriage) off into the sunset.

 

High achiever !?!? The lazy POS beat the mighty Willie monroe JR and David Limieux before getting smashed by Canelo, that’s all he’s done in the SIX years since he won the middleweight title.

Oh sorry I forgot, he also beat the ghost of Martin Murray the little high achiever !

 

He was boxing on level terms with the world's number 1 pound for pound boxer until one punch....one punch.... Inflicted a fight ending injury!

A good boxer on his day but very fustrating and at times boring to watch and i can't stand him as person, won't miss him.

I don’t think anyone’s complaining. Just seems to be the consensus that the majority of people just think he’s a C*** of a person.

Kovalev? Not always. While Yarde had gave him total hell during 2 rounds and Canelo had defeated him, I think most brutal beatup in his life he had get from Eleider in their first fight. Poor Kovalev during 1 round suffered so much that I had assumed that he will retire after this.

 

That's kind of like how it very often goes in Boxing and all this 'on equal' terms crap is getting a bit nauseating. Canelo always had him sussed and was just biding time, not expending half the energy BJS was and took his opportunities far more clinically and effectively.

If BJS would just take his L and not shat on those around him. He's got nowhere to go now as already stated. He'll likely price himself out of anything meaningful or not take a fight out of sheer spite.

A very good career but, should have been stellar with just a little bit less attitude and dispensing with the huge chip on his shoulder.
