Then Ali signed for a rematch with Liston, and they stripped him. It's easy for a couple people to monopolize a title if they keep exercising rematch clauses.

Rematch clauses should be banned unless both parties have it with exactly the same terms. That would help a little. It's a joke of a sport though.
