Lets be real. Wilder was blocking out Fury with his headphones, and still Fury ruined him through his trainer... I was amazed and amused when Fury managed to start messing around with Malik. If Fury couldn't get in Wilders head, he's now in his trainers head. Fury is a genius really. Wilder is mentally fragile and it was probably a good decision to lose himself in his music because he would have been obliterated psychologically. Wilder's sanity is hanging by a thread. P.S. On top of Joshua, I really hope Fury fights Dillian Whyte, I would love to see that.
Trying to block Fury out of his head only means he is already way in it. It exposes how fragile he his and how the loss hurt him.
If you wear headphones to the press conference and refuse to talk to your opponent. You are ****ing ruined in terms of mind games and you are admitting to it too. I wonder what version of Wilder we are going to see on fight night based on his mental state. Will he go all out for the KO in the first 2-3 rounds, or will be paralysed in fear and take a massive beat down?
He has nothing to lose now. He scared but he wont back down either otherwise it will be admitted defeat.
Exactly. Wilder has done everything physically and mentally to prepare for his third fight with Fury. He had surgeries to repair injuries. Hired new trainers. Worked on his skills, which had fallen way off over the years under the other trainers. Followed all the legal channels to secure the fight. Got the fight when everyone said it wouldn't happen. He is in tremendous condition. He's focused solely on winning. Nothing else. Truth is, we won't know until the bell rings how it will all shake out. That's what makes the fight so interesting. But neither can say they weren't ready for it. Wilder-Fury is turning out to be a very fun series. Their fighting styles and personalities really work together. This may be the fight where BOTH finally enter the ring at their very best. When the bell rings, it will be wild. But, all these "mind" threads are pretty tiresome. If Wilder loses, it will be because Fury will outpunch him. Wilder isn't afraid of Fury. He pursued this third fight harder than most people have gone after an opponent in a very long time. He wants it. He got it. Now he has to win it in the ring. And he's doing everything he can to succeed in fight 3. Should make for a fun night. All the "mentally damaged" stuff is stupid. And 99 percent of these guys are just Wilder trolls who can't talk boxing so they just troll looking to turn everything into an insult thread. The Fury-Wilder series is going down in heavyweight history. I'm thoroughly enjoying it. Glad the fight is only a few weeks away. That year and a half between fights was too damn long. I'm tired of rehashing old fights. Hope they all stay busy the rest of the year.
Pride, obviously.... He's derranged and can't admit defeat, that's why he made all the excuses... It KILLS Wilder that he's be bettered. Watching Wilder nearly cry as Fury stared into his eyes shows everything. Next stop retirement for Deontay. Good luck to him after the sport. This content is protected 3:37 - Poor deontay......
Yeah this doesn't make any sense. If I was scared of someone I wouldn't fight them twice, let alone 3x. Wilder is a millionaire he could have just rode off into the sunset, fought some tomato cans, or taken step aside. He did none of the above.
So he's "proud" and "so scared he might cry" at the same time? You guys aren't making any sense at all.
Wait, what?? Lol..... Ok then buddy pmsl... Unfortunate you cant comprehend simple logic.. Enjoy the 24th... Like Fury said to Wilder in the stare-off ....."You know whats coming!" Retirement!
You know nothing about Wilder or his mind set. To me, he was trying to come off as focused and angry. Who knows.
There was no logic in your post at all. You apparently do not know the definition of the word "proud". You're claiming wilder is too proud to accept the loss yet are claiming he was on the verge of tears and is actually really scared and doesn't really want the fight. That's a contradiction, any 2.0 gpa college student could point it out.
