Yeah **** Pacquiao, who has won titles in five divisions and defeated much more dangerous and accomplished opponents than Margo.

I don't know about that. What elite fighter has Pacquiao beaten in his prime? Barrera, Morales and Marquez were all past it....and the first Marquez fight was a draw, the second a highly controversial win for Pac. I think Cotto has actually been fighting the more dangerous competition over the last few years but thats just my humble opinion.

Sadly, it is the enthusiastic and dismissive Cotto faithful that are already labeling Margarito overrated, one dimensional, unskilled, ect. Regardless of whether Cotto wins or loses that is an unfortunate thing. I've been guarding against the hype on both sides, personally, and there's nothing you can do to stop it. It's like a forest fire. If Margarito wins, he will become an unbelievable hype because of all the anti-Margarito/Cotto hype propoganda that's been put out there. If Cotto wins he just beat an overrated, one dimensional, unskilled Margarito. That's how they've set it up.

The other things I highlighted here are pure :huh 's and :nut 's IMO.

 

I bet even tszyu was surprised w/the outcome! it was just a well placed punched! trust me if there was a second it would have been a very diff outcome!

 

Beating a limited guy like Margo won't put him into the top 3 P4P Margo is barely top 25 P4P IMO.:deal

 

The clincher to me is that Judah was doing very well against Tszyu up to the point where he got hit by a single, very powerful punch. Cotto's win, even though Judah has some moments in there as well, was a methodical beatdown where Judah was slowly losing the fight the more it progressed. That's more impressive to me than the Tszyu win, even without the classic moment at the end.

 

I wouldn't be surprised if Cotto gets a decision because he has a sturdy chin and is very heavy handed so that combination may make him last and survive through with an advantage in punch stats and more eye-catching moves... Happens that Miguel would have to follow that strategy to get rounds in the bag with the speed / explosiveness advantage early and control the later rounds with cold blooded defensive moves... Things may or may not go his way. Cotto's lights can go at every moment as much as Tony's and that's what you have to think about.

 

The argument is very similar to the recent debate over who put the greater beat down on Miranda. Abraham scored the more sensational and stunning win, but Pavlik damn near beat the black off the poor kid!

Same deal here. Cotto dismantled Judah. A prolonged beating is much harder on a fighter than a quick one-punch KO. ****, I got knocked out playing baseball one time and I was fine after just a few minutes. On the other hand I've been in street fights that took weeks to heal up from.
