Very wide Montiel did better than the cards.

You know what? Yes. Yes, I do. This fight drove me insane and only intense boredom can cure me.

Jermallo does some things very well but like I said he was massive for 154 and much naturally bigger than everyone at that weight. Hell he's still big for 160 but like I keep saying once you move up and start fighting opponents your own size it's a different ballgame. He's been taken the distance in 4 of his last 5 fights now and his one fight that ended inside schedule was a grotesque size mismatch against Featherfisted leprechaun 154 pounder Hogan.

Even his first fight at the weight against JSH the Argentine's leg was so badly messed up going in he could barely walk let alone fight and a stiff breeze would've bowled him over. Don't get me wrong, he hits hard but his power is just not as effective as it was down at 154 against all those fighters he was much naturally bigger than.

Tonight's fight was the hardest fight of his career. Korobov was too slick and skillful for him and beat him but this was gruelling as hell for him.

 Not surprised. You need to KO a Charlo to get a draw. They are some of the most protected fighters in boxing.

basically two different charlos fought in each half. the one of the second half lost all power and movement, apparently the blueprint is fircing him to move and work and weathering the storm. he has no chance against golovking or alvarez and jacos would be a very live dog

Don't know why people bring up 15 round fights when discussing a current fight that's all.

Need to have wide cards like that just in case Montiel did enough to eek out a close win.

On that performance, Charlo should avoid a clash with Murata. For all his faults Murata has chin, comes forward, and has heavy hands, with some under-rated body shots, and is physically strong

I guess you didnt see his twin brother drop a loss to Harrison by decision?? Charlo won this fight clearly. Stop reaching.

People criticize boxers for not getting KOs too often, but this is one of those times where it fits.

Montiel was pretty hapless in there.

Because so many results would actually have turned out different.
15 rounders were great for boxing-should bring them back.
