Fury would have schooled both of them easily, but yes his resume isn`t as good as some fan boys seem to think.
Ali fight was an exhibition bout Fury fight was a real fight, but a comeback pushover fight Fury is also twice the size of Ali Whatever floats your boat. Fury at his size and age can still move, Ali couldn't in his 30's, relied on his toughness and clinching. We won't see another superheavy the size of Fury with his movement probably ever again. Fury is the first of his kind.
I may be in the minority here but I think Fury did it better as Ali did that particular Rope a Dope move against Dokes in a exhibition fight where they were joking around. Fury was using that move in non-exhibition fight against other active heavyweights.
The thing about the rope a dope is when Ali did it against Foreman he was in an era where that allowed him the victory. Had that fight taken place today any ref worth their salt would have stepped in and saved Ali from taking punishment. because although he avoided some of Georges shots a lot of them landed. You only need to look and Ali's health in retirement to see why the rules have changed for the better.
lol! Ali wsn`t even getting hit that much, it was like when Nigel Benn fought Watson in 1989, which round would a ref have stopped that fight and what would the modern reation to that stoppage be? Ali wasn`t even wobbled once and was countering well.
