His Domination over Danny Wiliams was a sight to see.

His comeback at around the age of 40, and holding the WBC strap against Charr, Chisora , Briggs and Peter and some others was absolutely amazing.

He was fighting men in their peak while an old man himself, still dominating them.

His biggest scalp was Shannon Briggs. Make of that what you will.

Probably his comeback against Peter. I honestly picked him to lose that fight, one of the few times I picked against him, but he came back after a long layoff with a refined style and put hands on Peter from bell to bell.
Say what you will about Peter but he was a young stud at the time and had Wladimir living all up and down qu33r street a few years prior despite getting outboard.
I think Peter was a better and more dangerous opponent than any of Vitalis other wins.
Vitali lost a degree of luster for me after he fought scared against Chisora.
His fight with Lewis was intriguing, but he gets much too much credit for his performance if you ask me. Basically he started strong against an aging and out of shape champion, caught him with a couple of early shots, and then failed to capitalize on any of his opportunities. He allowed Lewis back into the fight, who in turn carved up his face and took over control of the fight. I think Vitali was on his way to getting KOd if the fight hadn't been stopped

I would have to say the Peter fight.

Peter was the #2 heavyweight in the world at the time, and he was never really in the fight.

And? Stiverne in 2013 was #2 heavyweight in the world and he was never in the fight with Wilder.

Aslo Peter was shot to bits against Vitali , not saying he would ever have done better , just he was cleary washed up.

It is not clear what your point is here.

Is there another win on Vitally's resume that you rate more highly?

This is his best single scalp, but I picked the Peter fight, because Sanders at least made it competitive in places.

I forgot about Peter, and it might be his best, he was coming off a very long layoff and completely outboxed Peter.

Washed up Peter and an old/overweight Sanders. Decent wins but not great
