Watched that 11th out of curiosity

    GGG clearly won that round

I personally think he lost the fight but the 11th is pretty clearly his round

    It was blocked. 0 points.
    >>2:46 - Canelo lunging left hook, blocked by GGG but still landed partly on shoulder, this was still an effective punch and a scoring blow for Canelo, it moved GGG several steps back. +1 point Canelo

    >>2:43 one - two from Canelo, the jab was blocked then the right hand came over the top landed to GGG's head. +1 point Canelo

GGG slips a jab and there's a clinch.

2:33 : GGG misses a jab, short and blocked

    2:31 : GGG jab blocked
Well timed by GGG to pull straight back, avoid the jab and set up the counter. Technically Canelo's jab landed to the chin / neck area before the counter. GGG pulled straight back avoided it mostly but not completely.

Following the great counter right hand by GGG, there were two consective missed jabs from GGG slipped by Canelo.

2:27 Looked like GGG "blocked" the counter right by Canelo with his left shoulder. This is one of those that could still be counted as a landed shot by Canelo, though it's hard to see from the camera, it looks like the punch deflected off GGG's shoulder and ricocheted upwards.
A weak jab to the body that had nothing on it, Canelo pretty much avoided it, it may have barely grazed him. This is the problem you run into where you give the same score for a barely landed mostly slipped jab like this as a hard stiff jab like we see from both men later in the round.

    2:21 Canelo dancing
    BLOCKED - 0 points.
BLOCKED - 0 points. Tough angle to see this, you can see Canelo's left glove move from blocking the punch. So the punch definitely connected with glove.
The straight right hand got through the guard and connected but it didn't land clean or with any force behind it. It was partly blocked coming through and Canelo was leaning back to avoid the full force of it. It landed, but was not effective, that's barely a +1. Also a follow up right hand from GGG was slipped by Canelo.
Canelo's jab landed better and was more forceful.
This wasn't even a jab, it was more like a reaching left hook and it barely landed, Canelo pretty much slipped it by moving to his left making GGG reach on this punch. It may have grazed Canelo's hair it certainly didn't land with any force. Not a significant punch.
    Jab BLOCKED - 0 points.
Canelo's jab at 2:02 was far better than any of the other jabs by GGG in this sequence which were mostly blocked. Canelo had the only clean stiff jab in this exchange of jabs.
Yup, clean, cleaner than anything GGG's landing.

    >>1:53 You missed this, another clean left hook by Canelo across GGG's face.
Great one - two combo by GGG.
The uppercut to the body by Canelo looked OK hard to see how good it landed.
It didn't land very hard. Light jab.
That little left hook landed flush in his neck area.
Great right hand, a lot harder and with more force than any of that stuff that GGG landed.
    Jab BLOCKED. 0 points.
This may have been blocked, hard to tell from the camera angle.
The first jab landed clean, bounced right off his forehead, the 2nd jab was clearly blocked, didn't get through. The next two punches were skillfully blocked, by Canelo including this:
Mostly blocked by glove, part of the glove connected in neck, not ear. Not a forceful or clean blow.

    1:34-1:31 Canelo slipped consecutive punches.
    Blocked, ricocheted away 0 points.

    Good combo.
    Yes, this one landed.

    >>1:25 you missed this, Canelo feint with the right, upper body movement, sneaks in a left hand, looks to land though it's hard to tell from the camera angle.
    Great right hand. Landed clean.
    >> 1:19 quick right hook by Canelo grazes off the top of GGG's head

    GGG looking tired backing away.
Hard, clean flush jab. Much better than any GGG jab this round.

    1:07 - GGG jab, 27 points
    1:07 - GGG partial uppercut, 28 points
    >> 1:06 you missed this, Canelo uppercut lands clean
    1:05 - Canelo grazing right 21 points

    >> 1:02 Left hook by Canelo blocked by GGG's elbow
    >> 1:02 followed up by a great clean right hook by Canelo - !you missed this!

1:01 Canelo misses a follow up right hand wildly, GGG shakes his head. Yeah that one missed but the one before didn't.

    >>0:59 straight right hand blocked by Canelo - Canelo blocked a lot of punches this round.
BLOCKED - 0 points. Why are you counting blocked jabs as landed for GGG?
OK, before this jab landed, Canelo blocked a right hand then slipped a jab. As this jab was landing Canelo landed a jab of his own. So in this sequence GGG missed 2 punches here, then they both landed jabs at about the same time. You fail to see, mention or credit the Canelo jab.
BLOCKED - 0 points. You continue to count blocked jabs by Canelo as landed punches for GGG. No wonder you end up with GGG ahead.
Canelo blocks/slips 3 punches in a row, two jabs and ducks a right hand. Then another jab blocked by Canelo. Note all the missed GGG punches. Canelo is far more accurate as puncher this round. The GGG uppercut we cannot tell if it landed or was blocked due to the camera angle. One thing about this round is that we have poor camera angles for a lot of these punches.
Partial hook? Wrong. Right hook landed clean across GGG's face hard. Great punch. That punch hurt GGG look at him wobbling around after that.
Looks like that one jab got through by GGG, but it was in a series of missed punches by GGG.
Big punch, caused GGG to clinch.

    >> 0:28 GGG jab blocked by Canelo. You must admit, GGG missed a lot of jabs in this round.

    >> 0:25 Canelo jab appeared to be just short. Hard to tell for sure from the camera angle.
Great shot by GGG, but go back and pay attention to the combo that Canelo was in the midst of throwing when that left hook landed. GGG's left hook was great, but the 3 punch "jab, left hook, right uppercut' combo that Canelo was throwing, all those punches by Canelo appeared to land on GGG, even though he was moved by that great left hook by GGG, Canelo appeared to land 2 more shots in that exchange than GGG did, but GGG's left hook was of course the most impactful and eye-catching. This is actually a great example of GGG timing Canelo and landing a big hook during a Canelo combination. Full credit to GGG for this shot, but at the same time, lets not ignore the 3 punch combo that was being landed on GGG when that happened.

Canelo is moved and off balance momentarily from the left hook, GGG takes a deep breath.
Jab was parried, it did not land clean. 2nd jab by GGG blocked by Canelo, 3rd jab lands barely. Then Canelo ducks a right hand and counters :
This was the counter uppercut heart shot. It landed right into his chest, brilliant placement here by Canelo. It's very rare to see a heart shot landed with such power. GGG did not like that. This is arguably the best punch in the whole round just due to how perfectly placed and rare of a punch this is. It's very hard to land a uppercut to the heart with power like that. G's breathing hard now.
Decent jab here by GGG, it landed clean but sort of slid off his left cheek, it didn't land fully flush.
This is a big right hand across the chin, this is what I mean by Canelo landing the clean punching down the stretch. GGG didn't land any right hands as big as this. Canelo is taking over the round at this point.
Are you kidding me? Not as impressive? This was a picture perfect one - two. The left hand was a partial land around the glove, the left hook connecting with the ear and shoulder, setting up the big right hand landing hard and flush.
Peach of a short lead right hook across the face by Canelo.
A Canelo counter jab appeared to land / graze off GGG as he tried to avoid it.
You missed a lot of Canelo punches and counted a lot of blocked jabs for GGG. Now we can re-calculate the scoring with these corrections.

Hard to tell due to the camera angle, GGG's big head is blocking our view of Canelo's right glove. It didn't land flush, it may have been a partial land, partial block and partial slip. The punch appears to graze across his left temple, as Canelo used some last second head movement to slip it. Then he blocked the follow up right hand.

How about we make a list of the Best 10 punches in the 11th round for each fighter, rank them for #1 to #10 based on the punch summary, with time stamps, then compare them and decide who's best punches were better. Then if needed we can compare the rest of the punches and rate those as well. What will happen is you'll end up with Canelo landing more heavier and cleaner punches than GGG.

@shadow111 You have the most inconsistent contradictory take on this. I'm just gonna address the first part because I can't take this stupidity any longer
You can see Canelo's right hand doesn't get there in time. It looks like it possibly lands but hard to see.. Blocked? Lol okay pure guess but keep the bias up.
Jesus f christ, you're an imbecile I'm sorry but come on. Didn't realise inside gloves slaps to arm/shoulder (kinda looks like it hits ggg glove) is an effective scoring blow. At this point I'm considering even bothering with this. You just reach for the stars.

Lol the right hand landed? You're really showing yourself up and we're barely 15 seconds into the round. So golovkin right hand at 2:50 was blocked yet Canelos right hand landed.. Absolute poor perception
It was a light tap that landed on the forehead. This is the kind of shot you dismiss from GGG (which I'd agree with) yet give Canelo credit for.. Its just getting pathetic now
Canelos jab just scuffs him as hes pulling back seriously ffs
Landed far cleaner than Canelos previous jab. My god why I'm feeding you, you're an absolute troll.
This refers to the jab at 2:19..just because Canelos hand moves to the right down does not mean its parried you can see Canelos head move backwards..
You refer to 2:12 jab lol no it wasn't. In fact GGGs jab rocks Canelos head back and its not clear whether Canelos jab lands to the chest or the base of the chin

It landed for sure and did not "graze him" but Canelo was moving away. There are so many instances where Canelo grazes Golovkin far more so than what Golovkin did here and you act like it's a clean shot from Canelo. Really is pathetic and inconsistent
Another instance where you are significantly downplaying GGG and over emphasising Canelos work. GGGs jab was the only real stiff jab that landed at 2:03..at 2:01 Golovkins head moves before Canelo punch even grazes which is what it at most did. Watch it back. The level of dishonesty here is what I expect from you shadow.
The first part you're referring to 1:56 which is a left hook inside slap hook to Golovkins neck/traps. An another example of you not knowing what clean punching is. 1:53 does not look to land on GGG chin and instead lands on his chest. You can see in the exchange his chin does not move.
What.. From the angle it doesnt look like it lands at all. Come the **** on
You refer to 1:41..this punch lands on the side of his face.
    This 1:40..this.. Just.. Utter ridiculous.

Right this is me done I'm not doing any more I can't stand your clear over emphasis of everything Canelo does, making up ****. You're inconsistent/wrong in almost everything you say/timestamp. Please just get the hell out of this forum you complete an utter dishonest troll.

@Quina74 you're almost halfway home why stop there. The 2nd half of the round is the more important part, please comment on all the power punches by Canelo in the punch summary. Then see if you can find punches that GGG landed that equal those.

I've read through the second post and it's filled with the same amount of nonsense.. I'm not spending 30-60 minutes typing up a response you troll. Again, poor perception, over exaggeration of Canelo's shots, whilst downplaying Golovkins, mentioning Canelo punches that don't land/graze as actually landing.. Counting arm/shoulder shots, counting inside glove slaps.

I'm sorry I'm not wasting my time in someone who will lie and spin the **** out of everything. You're just being completely dishonest at this point and are just outright wrong
