You are predicting that a 33 year old lightweight will eventually, at some undefined point in the future, lose to a younger boxer. Bold.
i think those feelings are about pac. youre hearts just confused and trying to shield you from a truth that could tip you over the edge.
I think this weekend may hold a few big upsets honestly. Every main event the a side is vulnerable in my opinion. They're all favorites, but not as big favorites as the oddsmakers are suggesting.
Even if Lomachenko loses, he still had a pretty good career. He tied the record for fewest number of fights to win a world title, and holds the record for fewest number of fights to be a 2 weight and 3 weight world champion. He's rewritten boxing history.
I think he'll be more appreciated once he retires. The fact he is never a true lightweight and managed to clown some decent fighters at the weight and be really competitive speaks volumes of his ability imo. I hope his injuries don't hold him back and he can win this and get another big fight before he calls it a day.
Why? Cos he recently put in a flat performance against a young LW who over a YEAR ago admitted he's weighing 160 pounds between fights? Lopez is basically a WW come fight night almost.. Plus Loma was coming off a long lay off too.. yes Lomas peaked already, Loma at SFW making all those guys quit were his prime years but I'll be shocked if it's definitively proven he's DONE.. we'll see tonight..
