Yes. Throw down the money on that +900. I'm not saying he's a lock or something. Loma is on a different level skill-wise but this isn't about skills. This is about size and styles.

Loma barely dominated Lightweights in his career. Lopez outmuscled him. Pedraza was game too and Linares was arguably ahead before getting stopped by the body shot. Loma suffered some bad injuries and might lost a bit of his power too over the last few years.

Nakatani is a crazy mother****er. He throws a lot of punches and comes forward. He's big even for a Lightweight and could potentially fight at 140 or 147. Not joking about that. Look at the Teofimo/Nakatani weigh in pics. He was towering over Lopez and was the much bigger guy.

Stylistically this is a bad matchup for Loma. A guy who comes forward, throws a lot of punches and disrespects his boxing skills and power. Lopez did it. Salido dit it. And both had success. Nakatani is basically a bigger version of Salido.

You guys know i'm usually giving you decent underdog picks like the Straffon +1200 over Tennyson dog play in the UK a couple of weeks ago. I don't want to read "Ahhhahaha Loma destroyed him" after Loma picked up a Win here. I'm just saying...the odds on Nakatani are insane and i think he's a freaking live dog here. Loma will have his hands full this weekend.

This is a good matchup by the way. Not so sure why Loma takes this fight but i guess he picked Nakatani because of the fact that Nakatani fought Lopez and arguably beat him so Loma might want to look good here to get a rematch asap.

Definitely looking forward to this weekend. Some sneaky matchups with Lubin vs. Rosario (where i think Rosario is a live dog too at +225) and Barrios vs. Tank (i think Tank takes a boring UD).

Agree this is a really dangerous fight for Lomachenko given the circumstances and the points you made.

Clearly a serious potential banana peel.

It's gonna be a long drawn out UD by Lomochenko. Nakatani is the type of opponent he needs to look good against right now. He will just flow in and out throwing combos at mid range and stay away from trying to brawl inside with a guy who likes pain.
He better or meet the same fate Verdejo did.

No one disputes this. Loma will gain massive respect if he beats Nakatani. Teo did when he KO'd a dangerous Commey. :risas3:

If nakatani is the warrior I saw in his last two outings, it aint going to be easy for loma. But loma has something to prove and a chip on his shoulder. if both these guys show up it should be fun.

The size discrepancy between the two is alarming. That alone is cause for concern on Lomas behalf.

But if Loma has anything left he should be able to take a UD.

Nakatani is good and tall as fk but IMO, Loma is still a candidate for best p4p in the sport. He just paced himself wrong against a WW in Lopez. So Loma should do his thing and win 12 rounds UD.

Did Tank and Loma have a competition for who can fight the tallest guy this weekend?

Agree 100%.. how many shoulder surgerys gas Loma had now...I like Loma but he's not got long left at all...n that makes me sad..but I like nakatani...he's a game and ballsy fighter...skill disparity is definitely there but at 8/1 I'm putting some money down...I've got 50 in the betting account....and I also think Rosario might beat lubin...I hope Barrios beats tank....I might back him by ko...cos I don't think he'd get it on the cards...but Davis has gone up a hell of a lot of Divisions considering he's a borrower...he will get chin checked soon

I believe naka is custom made for loma, and thats why he picked him. Loma by smoked sushi ribs late in the fight.

I think Loma will win but wouldnt be shocked at all to see him fall apart mid fight
