The 7th round was just the fight condensed. Perez was just outboxing Gomez with almost contemptuous ease. He lets Gomez walk him into a corner, gets ROCKED by an overhand right, and suddenly Gomez spends the last 30 seconds battering Perez from pillar to post and stealing a round Perez was winning.

lol Perez' corner tried to do the old "oh no my tape on my gloves needs to be redone" trick. All he did was give Gomez an extra minute of rest and he knocked Perez the **** out.

EDIT: Apparently they thought it was an eight-round fight, not a ten-rounder. His team are idiots.

Great KO but why give Gomez an extra minute to recharge?

Perez' dip**** corner thought it was an 8-rounder.

Matellon is being very slick through the first two rounds, landing counters to the head and body that are scoring points, but Argumedo is managing to land a few bombs. The problem is, few and far between.

Clash of heads causes a NASTY cut on Argumedo. Fight may be stopped; maybe not, it's in a weird place on the side of the head.

    Nope, we're still going.

That thing is GUSHING and Matellon not doing any favors going after it.

Ironically the 3rd was a great round for Argumedo; he got Matellon on the ropes several times and unleashed. The problem is half his face is covered in blood and it's a deep cut.

Matellon is a frustrating guy to watch. Clearly a talented but so lazy at times...typical Cuban!

Getting cut gives Mexicans superpowers, judging by the bombs Argumedo is landing in the fourth. It isn't one-sided traffic though. Matellon is getting his licks in via long-distance snipes.

5th round report: Argumedo is still bleeding (from THREE cuts now), thus still has superpowers.

The 6th is going to be a weird one to score. Super Argumedo is still going forward and throwing bombs, but Matellon is doing a much better job catching them on the forearms and smashing Arugmedo with counters. However, "WAR MEXICO" may have still given Argumedo the round.
