Yeah i don't think Tank is personally scared. He's controlled by the mayweather camp and they go for low risk, high reward fights. Lomo is high risk, high reward

It ain't physical fear. It ain't even Tank who seems to me to just be an easily led kid beguiled by "Money". It's Floyd. Left to his own devices, I'll bet Tank would take the fight, but he's Floyd's way to stay in the conversation so he won't be risked until it's time to cash out.

Tank should take the fight with Loma, demand it if he has to . Loma and Tank would then be in the spotlight in a huge money fight while Lopez sits ,the odd man out. No reason this fight couldn't be in October. Except maybe Floyd.

Just stop. What has Tank done at 135 that shows he'll beat Lomachenko. He's got some thudding power but Loma is just too skilled. Stop overrating Tank. Lopez is huge compared to Lomachenko and could use his size well, Davis not so much.

Tank ain't gonna be standing there like Nakatani like a slow moving punching bag. Loma don't want that smoke. Tank would've knocked his but out long before the ninth round.

I've swayed my opinion on the fight and i think Tank Davis can stop Lomachenko and make it a dog fight.

Lomachenko will make him miss early on and fight with caution but eventually Tank will get him in the later rounds and take him out in a passing of the torch type fight.

When Lomachenko is in control he never has to get in a dog fight because of his qualities in the ring. He's almost always got more tools than the opponent he's fighting. He's always more accurate, faster and times his punches perfectly.

The thing is i don't think the gulf in difference will be huge over Davis. I think Tank Davis's power will actually be the equalizer and enough to beat Lomachenko with a correct game plan.

Lomachenko is not a ''perfect'' boxer. No boxer is perfect. He has weaknesses and is human.

Teofimo Lopez as good as he is on paper is overrated. He's a bit ordinary and only has so many punches in his arsenal. His power and distance won him the fight against Lomachenko.

I don't think Gervonta Davis needs to be ''better'' than Lomachenko. He just needs to fight a great, intelligent fight where he throws a myriad of clean punches and makes Lomachenko miss (which i think he can)

Davis doesn't need to land as many punches as Lomachenko does to hurt Loma. Tank's power will bail him out only if he uses ''effective pressure'' and brings Lomachenko into a dog fight where Loma does not want to be.

Lopez showed it doesn't take a genius to beat Lomachenko. All it takes is an intelligent game plan and perhaps a unique quality to keep Lomachenko at bay.

let get one thing clear no fighter is afraid of another fighter period. (exception people feared tyson and liston) I just have not seen fighters fear each other and if they do, they are in the wrong business. fear after all is something you think may happen, skilled fighters make things happen they dont have time to rent space out in their head to fear.

Now mayweather made half a billion dollars in the game. These fighters now days thats all they aspire too. all decisions and moves are based on cash and personality profile. Nobody likes it and honestly the fans are pissed off. Only fear these guys have is loosing there 0 and not being marketable , loosing earning abilty.

Well yeah and this is due to pro boxing fans and mass media.
They need undefeated prospect, preferably with high KO% or some enough well known name, better very big name.

From this all this 0 thing and matchmaking, risk calculation.

It isn't like in MMA or KB, even in olympic sports.
Pro boxing? Guy with record like 8-3 will be called by fans as a bum, journeyman.
Pro mma? If guy with record like 8-3 will have winning streak, he will be possible future champ, maybe.
Pro KB? If guy is watchable and did not had been stopped, close fight lost on cards vs good opponent will be not end of career.
Ofc if you will fall down and are not watchable, then different opinion about fighter. Otherwise, okey, you have let's say, 10-5 record, fights lost by decision, from 10 wins 5 by stoppage, guy looks watchable? Not bad.

    Pro boxing is different.

What has Lomachenko done that shows he will beat Tank? Lopez is only an inch taller than Loma with a three inch reach advantage. I didn't see no wrestling or much clinching if any. That was a fight of skills and game plans. Teo won. When Loma came on in the second half, Teo held his own and dominated the 12th. I didn't see where Loma's skillset was so overwhelming. He tried to tire the man out and that's it.

Yep. No rematch clause. There is no way Loma would have given Lopez a rematch if Loma won. The problem is Loma lost and people are trying to spin it like Lopez is scared. The diva got divad.
