    That would be the point....it would only be aimed at a specific person.

    I would honestly rather see Pacquiao stay at LW.

    He would uD him. Pac will opt to box and his handspeed and footspeed will allow him to survive. If Forbes can survive dlh im inclined to think Pac can survive pbf.

    It is rather obvious isn't it?

    Regardless, I made it clear that in reality, I want to see him fight Campbell.

    Forbes survived DLH, but bigger stronger fighters haven't. It's about styles.

    Pacquiao wouldn't go in trying to survive. If he took the fight, it would be to win it. To win it, he would need to attack. If he sits back, he has no chance. He would know this, so would Roach. So he would attack, and then he would most likely end up like Hatton.

    Really though, it's better if he faces the winner of Guzman/Campbell. And if he needs a stay busy fight, Soto or Valero works.

    If they took the fight it would be for money. Roach would ask Pac to try box.

    Well we are speculating differently. I don't think Pacquiao would ever take a fight and not try his best to win. And if he were fighting Mayweather, boxing would be a ridiculous proposition IMO.

    Even if he came to win, you dont think Pac wouldnt be alot more cautious after 3 rounds when he finds himself getting countered hard by the much bigger man?

    Possibly. But that may not stop Mayweather from stopping him. Remember, this wouldn't be Mayweather vs a Welter....and at 140 and under, Mayweather tried to stop nearly everyone he faced. And Mayweather got aggressive, I think Pacquiao would rather go out fighting than just getting cut to ribbons. But that's just me.

    We simply see it differently.

    poor guzman..all he's left with is guzman Soto II from lack of dancing partners.

    as for pac, i'd rather have Hatton then Nate Campbell first or vice versa.

    That's exactly how I would want it to go.. Campbell, Hatton, JMM, and then either Juan Diaz, Guzman, or Katsidis or perhaps all if he hasn't retired by then. You're right though, unifying 135 and beating Hatton & JMM would cement his legacy..

    1) Marquez -->booked
    2) Guzman --> booked
    3) Juan D.---> booked

    Valero is unproven.

    Bring on Soto! at least is a legitimate fight.
