Dreadful form and he had his boys assisting him. The fact that he feels the need to attempt to lift 310 lbs (slightly more than Fury's supposed weight for this fight) just shows that Fury is in his head big time.

    Paid appearance maybe?

It does seem like he's getting bigger though. It's too bad because what I really enjoyed about Wilder was he was lighter and faster and was showing that you didn't have to be 250lbs to succeed.

The whole fun of boxing is there are so many different ways to be good.

I was expecting his form to be bad but damn, his ass was a foot off the bench and there was no arch, no leg drive etc.

Does Wilder even have a proper strength and conditioning coach? Probably not or if he does he's taking as much notice from him as he did Breland.

When you see boxers do stuff like this it just shows many boxers even at the top level are still years behind many other athletes in other sports in regards to professionalism.

He's clearly attempting to draw anonymous attention and publicity. In many ways it's slightly idiot savant-ish of Wilder to tap into the market of inevitable haters that will blow the views out of proper portion.

That will not help him, at all. In fact, it could make him worse.

Why was he doing a Popeye the Sailor Man impression afterwards?

Bench press is not the solution for him. He needs to max out his agility, not his muscle mass. He's never going to be able to contend with Fury on the inside, so the game is to force Fury to walk through Wilder's ideal right hand range as much as possible.

 There was so much clear space between his arse and the bench, you could have thrown a couple of bantamweights through there.

Power has never been his lacking issue.

    it’s his overall boxing skill
Lack of left hand usage both in defense & offense.
That require attention & steady work.

As well as feints, footwork, stamina
Selection of punches & changeup on the velocity & power of those punches…

so many deficiencies, too many to list really.

True he has almost as many deficiencies as he does excuses lol.

He does have one major proficiency which he seems determined rely on again to bail him out again. So it doesn't seem anything has really changed. Breland said before that Wilder only ever wanted to work on his strengths and never his weaknesses.
