Incredible lack of strength mentally and physically - surely an act taking the urine to make Fury think he is gone.
Honestly I was slightly worried Furys head wouldn't be in the right place for this fight and Wilder would improve but having seen Wilders antics in the past few weeks Fury has nothing to fear. I give Wilder a 10% chance of winning this fight and that's being generous. I suppose it's possible he's pretending to be an incompetent moron but I doubt it.
Lol yeah it kind of reminds me of that video of Adrien Broner benching 315lbs but at least he was clearly doing that as a joke while Wilder is actually being serious with that.
Highly debatable... In the sense of having held a belt yes, in the sense of having a great resume hell no. I definitely agree regarding his performance, hopefully it's a more competitive display this time. (I wonder... If he loses again, will "I injured myself doing too many weights" come out among the next tsunami of excuses?)
Power is comes from a lot of things. Biceps isn't one or them, and chest muscles aren't very important either. Power comes from proper form, working the kinetic chain, building it in the feet, transferring the weight to the other, twisting your whole body into it with your hips, snapping the power through either your wrist or elbow - both work - and punching through the target. Obviously some people are much better at this than others and the speed and weight you do it with can effect it. You also need the right distance to get genuine power. Bench pressing is gonna do nothing for you when it comes to power. The form he's doing it with is embarrassing. I don't even lift a lot (I get a lot of my endurance and strength from my job; lots of ground work) and I can see there's heaps loads with that. Furthermore, Wilder's entire game is flawed, EXCEPT his power. He decides to work on the only ****ing thing he doesn't have to work on. Defence, balance, form, cardio, footwork, strategy, etc. Literally ANYTHING else. And even the weight isn't that impressive for a former heavyweight 'champion', I swear I've heard stories about Holyfield doing like 450lbs. In short, everything about this video is wrong
Funny after all the publicity about new coach and new ideas, working on the jab, developing a 1-2, he's now doubling-down on his trump card... 'power' as the focus of his pre-fight mind game. So when the heat is on and he's in the ring with Fury, with his apparently new improved jab and 1-2... what's he gonna do? Exactly the same; rely on his power and hope for the best. We're seeing nothing new now and we'll see nothing new then...
In terms of the other top guys beating him. He is at the top. AJ is not a guarenteed victory. Usyk, Whyte? The only top guy you can argue has greater than 50/50 chance of beating Wilder is Fury. Fury #2, AJ #2, Wilder #3.
Wilder practicing lifting a 300 pound man off himself when Fury falls on top of him after he tries one of them leg take downs again. Take Wilder's feet or legs away from him what does he have? NOTHING Fury is going to play with him, hopefully Fury can setup his overhand right a little better this time and sleep Wilder.
