LOL you still can't comprehend what punch resistance truly is, you're an imbecile. Multiple iron chin fighters have gotten dropped. But FURY has gotten dropped and hurt by people with no power, multiple times. Fury doesn't have a good chin, it's that simple. Though i wouldn't call him a glass chin. Just because he doesn't have a good chin doesn't mean he gets weeded away because even if he has a average or possibly even below average chin, he has good recovery abilities. Similar to Juan Manuel Marquez, gets dropped a lot, but can get up relatively easily most of the time. Ali got dropped, Mercer got dropped even in his prime, but that doesn't mean they dont have a solid chin LOL

Nope it has nothing to do with being relaxed or switched. Numerous fighters have been relaxed or not even looking at the punch they got hit with but they still took it and carried on. Lewis Achilles heal is no doubt his chin

I know what punch resistance is. I boxed. And I KNOW those champions getting dropped didn't mean they didn't have a solid chin.

I AM THE ONE arguing THEIR CHINS and FURY's CHIN are fine.

You are the one who is the imbecile if you think the undefeated World Heavyweight champion who has been a pro for 13 years has a below-average chin because he got knocked down a couple times.

You are the one arguing that. Not me.

And you are the one who needs to get his head out of his ass.

Any heavyweight world champion at the top of the sport who has been a pro for 13 years and has never been stopped DOES NOT have a below average chin.

And I am finished talking with you. Other than insulting other board members, and cackling about Wilder doing bench presses, you don't seem to offer anything.

If you don't know an answer to anything, you post a Wilder insult.

Study up. You don't know ****.

Is this some kind of act ? You can't read. A fighter can have a subpar (not glass) chin as long as they have good recuperative abilities. Thats Tyson Fury, well arguably. He can be argued to have an average chin. He got hurt badly by featherfisted punchers, but he can get up right after getting hurt and recovers well, even when he got knocked down by the "all time great puncher Deontay Wilder" LOL do you comprehend what i just said ?

Ali fought some historically heavy punchers and to say he’s rarely been dropped is nothing short of magnificent. I mean if you rewatch the Shavers fight and the Frazier trilogy it’s unbelievable that he stayed on his feet. Unfortunately taking those punches throughout his career was directly responsible for his Parkinson’s. To say he had a glass jaw is beyond laughable.

Even guys with good chins, hell even granite chins can be dropped. Any fighter getting caught with a shot they don't see coming can go down and that's what happened with Fury and Ali vs Cunningham and Cooper. Guys with OK chins would get KO'ed by these unseen shots, but guys with granite chins or good recovery can shake it off.

Also a fighters ability to take a punch can vary during a fight. We've all seen a fighter go down early then walk through the same shots a few rounds later. Froch vs Groves being a prime example which explains how Ali got dropped in rd 1 vs Banks. There's a reason why many fighters are cautious in rd 1, it's because that's when you're most vulnerable.

Fury I think has a good chin, not granite but good but his powers of recovery are exceptional him getting up vs Wilder in rd12 is up there with Holmes getting up from Shavers. To do that in the last rd when he wasn't even 100% was remarkable.

Ali has a granite chin, he's taken too many punches from too many huge punchers to think otherwise. He also has remarkable powers of recovery as well.

For once, I kinda agree with Dubblechin.

If a fighter like Wilder had a glass jaw he wouldn't have gotten to where he did - even if his resume is massively inflated, if his jaw was properly glass he wouldn't have managed even that.

I mean, if Pricey could bang 99% as hard, have far better fundamentals and achieve much less, that tells you that chin matters, and that it limits a fighter bigtime
